What does a hs Dropout put in a job application For "Education" ?

I Drop Out Off School And About To Start Studying For My G.E.D Test Witch Is 2 Months Away But I Need A Job And I Know Its Hard For A Hs Drop Out To Get A Job So I Need To Know What To Put In My Application . No Rude Comments Its My Life Not Yours.

Can I lie about having my Highschool Diploma on a job application?

What are the options for a high school drop out?

Get your GEDLearn an employable, valuable skill. Maybe it's computer programming. Maybe it's writing. Maybe it's plumbing. Maybe it's tech support. Maybe it's window washing. Maybe learn a language and become a translator. Whatever it is, you need to have a skill. Get a job. You're not in high school anymore. Your parents (or whoever your custodian is) will likely be somewhat angry and disappointed that you quit school. To placate them and to actually start living life (you're in the real world now) you're going to need to get a job and perhaps - depending on how angry they are - your own place. Don't be picky about what job you get, at the moment you're not exactly in high demand.Save your money. Unless you want to be doing whatever shit job you managed to get (but really you do need to get a shit job), you'll need to save your money for some purpose. It could be to open a food truck or to become a plumber. It could be for anything so long as it helps you become more valuable. Stay clean. Your life just got a whole lot harder. It's not impossible but at this point it's not easy. Cut back on alcohol and drugs. Stop doing whatever caused you to quit in the first place.Get new friends. Seriously, they're probably holding you back. The path to success, however you define it, is never easy. It's even harder without a certified education. I wish you the best of luck in your journey.

Why does everyone view highschool dropouts as losers?

Just because you dropped out of something like high school, does not make you a loser.
Now if you decide to live with your parents till your like 30 just because you have no job than yes you would be a loser.
Since you already have recieved your G.E.D and your going
to beauty SCHOOL - keywork school.
Makes you everything exept a loser.
Yes, i admit High school isn't for everyone.
Do what you want and not what others want you too.
You will make it in life just hang in there.

High School Dropouts?

Young people who don't complete high school face many more problems in later life than do people who graduate.

More than one in four Hispanic youth drop out, and nearly half leave by the eighth grade.

Hispanics are twice as likely as African Americans to drop out. White and Asian American students are least likely to drop out.

More than half the students who drop out leave by the tenth grade, 20% quit by the eighth grade, and 3% drop out by the fourth grade.

Nearly 25% changed schools two or more times, with some changing for disciplinary reasons.

Almost 20% were held back a grade, and almost half failed a course.

Almost one-half missed at least 10 days of school, one-third cut class at least 10 times, and one-quarter were late at least 10 times.

8% spent time in a juvenile home or shelter.

One-third were put on in-school suspension, suspended, or put on probation, and more than 15% were either expelled or told they couldn't return.

12% of dropouts ran away from home.

18 year old high school dropout in need of job.?

Why can't you go back to school?
18 years old is not that old. They should let you back in.

You need a high school diploma baby.

Talk to your local school district to be sure.If they still say you can't go back,
then you really need to study for the GED and earn your GED.

By earning a GED you will be open to many jobs available.

Can i still get a working permit if im a dropout ?

I would call your high school and simply ask, each state Labor laws are different for minors and specifically dropouts, will they issue you a work permit or visit in person. Good Luck!!

Pennsylvania: Each school district is responsible for issuing work permits to all minors who reside in the district including those who attend non-public schools or are participating in a home education program. Contact your school district to find out which building you should go to and what hours the work permit-issuing officer is available.
