What Does A Reoccurring Dream Of Being In The Hunger Games Mean

What do my reoccurring dreams of being in the Hunger Games mean?

To dream that you are in a fight, indicates inner turmoil. Some aspect of yourself is in conflict with another aspect of yourself. Perhaps an unresolved or unacknowledged part is fighting for its right to be heard. It may also parallel a fight or struggle that you are going through in your waking life. If you are fighting to the death, then it refers to your refusal to acknowledge some waking conflict or inner turmoil. You are unwilling to change your old attitudes and habits.

I had a dream I was in the Hunger Games. What does it mean?

Well like every dream it can mean lots of things. The connection to the hunger games means that you were thinking about it either subconsciously or consciously before you fell asleep. That's the easy part.

As for the details, these are always harder. You and Gracie being together could mean that you enjoy spending time with her, or that you feel like she's always there for you. The fact that you feel very safe while others around you die could mean that you feel safe, either socially or physically. The tree could symbolise your home, or your family, something secure in your life. The fact that you die could mean that you fear losing this secure factor in your life. And the sitting in the cinema and Gracie not talking to you about it could mean that you feel you had a better connection to the movie than other people, which ironically a lot of people feel with movies such as the hunger games.

Remember that these are just theories, but your dream could mean something along these lines :)

I have a recurring dream of having a baby. What does it mean?

In response to one of the answers: I postpone motherhood for 15 years because I'm in the process of becoming a human rights lawyer. I plan to be working for the High Commission on Human Rights and later as a prosecutor for the International Court for Genocide. All that means no time for being a mother. I'll be constantly traveling and staying in other countries for months. How is it possible to have a baby that way? Secondly, adoption is my conscious choice. I reason that my child is not conceived yet therefore can't feel pain or hunger or sorrow. Kids in Africa, impoverished parts of Latin America and Asia are born already therefore they do feel suffering. So who needs me most as a mother: a child not conceived or an orphaned or abandoned child that already exists? The answer is obvious. Also, I want to adopt 4 kids from the impoverished parts of the world. This requires money and not just enough to buy food. I must provide them all with good education as well. Therefore career first.

What does it mean if I'm having dreams about the Hunger Games?

So, every now and again I have a dream I'm in the hunger games. I actually really like the dreams, don't ask why because I don't really know, and in them I often end up killing someone who is already dead- like clove or marvel. Once I was in my house and the only weapons were things I found around my house, like scissors, and another time there was a time out and everyone went back to a catacomb with the entry platforms but it was like a cave. In each dream, I am me but like Katniss and get close to Peeta, like in the book except I actually really like him back. I am a big fan of the books but don't necessarily read them before I have these dreams. Does anyone know what these dreams mean, why I'm having them and, please don't think I'm weird, ways that I can trigger them? Thanks xx

Does Peeta Mellark die in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay? How?

No, he doesn’t die but his memories were manipulated by the capitol by using tracker - jacker ( human engineered wasps from book - 1) venom . His perspective about Katniss , the feelings were completely altered by the capitol. He even said that she was a mutt and was meant to be killed and further regrets that he once saved her by providing her the loaf of burned bread ( an incident from their past).

What does it mean if I always dream about fighting with zombies to survive?

If you watch a lot of Zombie movies or play Zombie videogames - this is just a replay of the game or movie, but you probably do have high anxiety so survival and self-protection is of great importance in your real life, you might feel like ‘the whole world is against me”.If you are not into Zombies, and this is a rather unusual dream for you - the Zombies can symbolise either parasitic/sabotaging parts of yourself (addictions, negative thinking, depression etc) - kinda like inner demons, but they can also symbolise people who are like Zombies - not really alive or feeling or empathic, and you are being threatened by them, people killing you emotionally.

What does dreaming about forgetting to feed pet fish mean?

I haven't had a fish for the past 5 years, since my pet fish died. Since then, I've been having recurring dreams where my fish is back inside a really dirty fish tank and I've forgotten to feed it. In the dream, I feel horrible about forgetting to feed it, but at the same time I think in the dream that it doesn't make sense how I could forget to feed it for so long. Then I feed it a bunch of food and the dream is over. I know it's weird, but does anyone know what it could mean? I have this dream about once or twice a week and it's always bothered me. I alwyays took really good care of my fish, so I don't know why I keep dreaming about it.
