What Does Ariana Grande Sound Like In Person

Is Ariana Grande a bad singer?

I have a formal classical musical training for three years and can confirm Ariana Grande is a great vocalist. She has first and foremost a wide octave range between 3 and 4 octaves, but she also has a great musical ear and ‘feel’, which allows her to improvise on the lead and she sings ‘in tune’. To do this, one needs a musical ear but also vocal technique.Although during live gigs of course there’s some electronic enhancement going on like slight reverb and harmonisation, she would be well capable to also fill a smaller venue without any enhancement but purely on the power of her voice.I consider her to be on the same level like Whitney Houston and she is certainly a far better vocalist than for instance Madonna, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, …Many pop singers are actually pretty average vocalists, most of them need auto tuning (Madonna and Britney Spears actually sound pretty awful without electronic enhancement), but Ariana Grande could certainly hit a note and sustain it without any need for electronics.I consider her to be one of the best naturally talented female pop vocalists of this era.

How can I sing like Ariana Grande?

I know this is weird but I love to sing and Ariana inspires me so much. I am a huge fan and love her music though, but I want to sing like her. Any tips on how I can get that high notes and that "ooohhhs" she makes like Mariah Carey in her songs? Also what can I do to sing better??

Did Ariana Grande copy this song?

There's a song called "What's Up?" that was made in the 90's (I believe by a group called "4 Non Blondes") [ I haven't actually heard this version btw]. I heard a rendition of this song sang by He-man and I just realized that the chorus sounds EXACTLY like Ariana Grande's "Put your hearts up". Wtf?

Is Ariana Grande a good singer?

I don’t think there is anyone in the mainstream pop world with a better voice than Ariana Grande. If you watch her live videos, I’d bet you wouldn’t spot any mistake at all. She has enormous control, range, and subtlety in her voice, PLUS a way of singing that’s instantly recognizable.Let’s take this video as an example.Take a look at all the tricks she can effortlessly pull off on stage!Belting (distorted/non-distorted)Adding vibratoImprovising intricate vocal runs, WELL articulatedMixing head voice and chest voiceSeamlessly transitioning between falsetto and chest voiceUsing various degrees of power in her high notesShe can surely compete with most divas like Beyonce, Alicia Keys, maybe Mariah Carey etc. And Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift… I’m not saying those girls are bad singers, but Ariana puts them all in the shade with superior range, control and pitch. Just compare two live videos and you’ll see it.Also, take her age in consideration! I wonder how good she’ll be in 5 years, I have very high expectations…PS: I suspect they used a tiny bit of Pitch Correction in the video. But no worries, you can find tons of Autotune-less recordings of her on YouTube.

Why do people love Ariana Grande so much?

Now i know all you arianators are gonna be all like "ARIANA'S AMAZING STUF!!1!" and I'm not saying she isn't. But, I just wanna know why so many people love her.

I mean, she's pretty and all, but (in my opinion) she's nothing special. She's too much like mariah carey, most of her songs sound the same, and she cannot act.

Yes, I won't deny that she's extremely talented and she can sing, but I just want to know why so many people like her?

(don't say i'm """"jealous"""" of her just because I don't like her. There's a difference between disliking and jealousy.)

Why do people think ariana grande is so hot?

I think she's pretty but wears too much makeup, body of a 12 year old, never fully smiles always a half smile thing and her hairs fake (she has even confirmed it). I think her voice is amazing and sorry she just orang seem all that smart. Who does everyone think she's so hot! ?

Why is Ariana Grande so good at singing?

I’m answering this question from a formal classical music background for three years:Talent and a naturally pleasant ‘timbre’. Timbre is the natural color of a voice and this you are either born with or don’t have. Some people are perfectly capable like Ariana Grande to sing in tune, but if you don’t have a ‘timbre’ people consider pleasant, well then it will simply not sound as pleasing to the ear, no matter how great your singing technique is.Singing from early age on, imitating her idols. She has listened carefully from early age on to singers she liked and it’s clear there’s a lot of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey influence going on. Not only is she perfectly capable of imitating them, she also has the wide natural octave range in order to do that. Octave range (the difference between the highest and lowest frequency you can sing clearly) is also something some people will simply be far better at than others. It can be developed to some point, but if one naturally has a wide octave rage like Ariana Grande and a pleasant ‘timbre’ then you have the basics to become a great vocalist.Training. Although from early age on she felt compelled to sing, obviously she also had tutoring. Maybe not in a formal way like in a classic music academy, but someone has surely tutored her how to extend her vocal and breathing techniques. It’s also the reason why she doesn’t do as many imitations as she used to do: for some imitations she had to stress her vocal chords in a unnatural way, which increased the risk her voice could ‘break’. It was a tutor who steered her away from doing to many imitations to save her voice for live performances.‘Feel’: some people simply have a far better ‘ear’ and naturally can sing in tune. This can not be teached, it’s a talent. Basically anyone can learn to sing to some degree, but you can’t beat natural talent: it will simply come far easier to someone who has the ‘ear’ and ‘feel’ for frequencies.

Why do people like 7 Rings by Ariana Grande so much?

Ariana Grande’s song 7 Rings is a good song, putting all things aside. This song isn’t good because Ariana Grande is singing it. If you got Jhene Aiko, Kehlani, Ciara, Rihanna, or Cassie sang it, this song would have been more liked by people but most people didn’t like it because Ariana, who is white, sang it.7 Rings wasn’t liked so much by people like Thank U, Next was because it had a trap beat to it and yet a white woman sang and rap to it and people felt there was a lot of cultural appropriation in the music video. People felt like Ariana Grande used Kawaii just to look aesthetic instead of using it for it’s true purpose. Basically people are mad that she used Kawaii, which is a Japanese culture, and could get away with it looking aesthetic, while Asian people have are being mistreated and people who are into Kawaii are often not accept and disrespected by society. People are also mad that she used trap beats, rapped and had woman twerking, when if this was a POC, like Cardi B, they would have been considered a bad influence and ghetto. Both of these situations are considered cultural appropriation because she was “stealing’’ something that isn’t accepted by society and using it to fit in or be trendy. I don’t think Ariana Grande meant to “steal” but rather fit in because as an artist in order to be successful, you need to have some kind of relation to the people, and she did it the wrong way.The only people I see liking this song are Arianators and people who don’t see the appropriation in this situation. Like I said before this song, is great but it just touched wound that there is in society.
