What Does C.o.p Course Stand For Something To Do With Insurance And Where Can I Find Such Courses

What should someone do after completing a CA course in order to advance their career?

I am discussing here the generally pursued courses by various Chartered Accountants students along with the course, since you have not mentioned any specific details.Role of each Profession -CA - Core in Auditing & Accountancy (Mostly Indian concepts)CMA - Core in Costing & Finance (Global concepts)CS - Core in Companies Reporting & Secretarial practices (Mostly Indian concepts)MBA - If you are already a CA, then MBA is just like a better GMCS Course (Soft Skill course)Law - Core in legal framework (Strictly Indian scenario)CIMA  - CMA in UK (Global concepts)Combinations & their functions -CA + MBA -- A person who needs to do job in MNCsCA + CS -- A person who wishes to do job in all companies except MNCs OR who wants to practice as a CA in core orthodox areasCA + CMA -- A person who wishes to do job at key posts in companies OR wants to practice as a CA in innovative & upcoming areas OR wants to become entrepreneurCA + Law -- A person who wishes to practice in Taxation, Arbitration etc. where legal advice is attached to your work OR job in legal & regulatory functions of company. Why not Three? Two makes a combo and denote specialization, when you do three (popularly known as Triplets) it denotes confused people, no specializations, who had nothing to do, so grabbed another degree to boast of.I believe if you have two, the knowledge of third is already at your hands, so third is not required.Worsts CombinationsAnything with MBA is worst combination, because a CA is already 10 times better than an MBA, except the interactive part. Its just that when 1 CA qualifies, already 10 MBAs passout at the same time. So, MBAs are available in bulk, that's why they are mentioned on all job profiles, which also means that bulk are paid low! I would keep IIMs and the Global best B-School passouts separate in this context.High returns CombinationsCA + CS because then anything that a company needs in India can be done by you.CA + CMA because anything that a company needs strategically, can be done by you, further you knowledge is globally applicable, not restricted just to India, so you can work anywhere around the world!CFA, FRM, CFP are Finance related courses, not so popular, but still have a lot of scope for finance specialization.

What happens if you get caught driving without insurance with a learners license in Alberta?

Oh boy, what a pickle you are in! First off, you knew that you didn't have insurance. You should have gotten in touch with the insurance broker right away. If you only have a learner's permit then you needed to have a driver on your policy if you owned the vehicle. Perhaps you could have discussed the situation with them. Surely you thought of this while in Mexico? This was a bad decision and now you pay the consequences. The courts will not be lenient.

1) Why fight the ticket - you have no defense. You knowingly drove without insurance. On top of that you drove 20 km over the speed limit. You know if you are 5 km or so over they will not bother you but no, you pushed it.

2) I think you just got lucky. You were in enough trouble as it was and probably you did not make it worse by having "attitude" with the police officer. This was a good decision.

3) Yes, you will have to pay any resolved tickets when you go for your class 5 GDL test. The one that is a future date is not yet applied to your driving record. Once it is you will have to pay it. Get it taken care of so this doesn't come back to haunt you later.

4) If you are male then you are GRID rated. You are allowed 1 ticket. A second one will increase your rates. Every ticket there afer will increase your rates. If you lose your license to points a suspension takes time off your driving record and that will increase your rates.

5) You appear to be on the Class 7 GDL and it may come up that you were contravening this license class. So you can get points for that. Just because the police officer didn't do it at the time doesn't mean it won't happen. You will get points for the driving without insurance. You will get points for the speeding ticket. You only have up to 8 points then you lose your license for the learners. The only protection you have is taking a defensive driving course prior to losing the demerits and that buys you back 2 points.

Ethics are about making the right decision. I realize you probably work hard and are a responsible person. You also need to consider that you are only hurting yourself when you make a choice that you know is wrong. Pretend mom is standing behind you next time, you'll do the right thing and you know what, it'll save you a lot of hard earned money!

Good luck.

What does the "DD" field on a driver's license mean?

I just got my Washington (not DC) driver's license and there's a field at the bottom called "DD". Next to it is my driver's license number with a lot of random characters added to the end. What is the DD field for? I know it is nothing to do with defensive driving as I never took a course.

Can police tell if your insurance is fake.............................

The police may or may not check the authenticity of your insurance if you get pulled over, but if he so much gets an inkling you are hiding something or you appear untrustworthy, he'll run all sorts of background checks on you and may eventually find out that your insurance isn't valid at all.

But just in case your friend gets caught, and the police slaps him with driving without insurance, he'll go to jail too for fraud. Too much at stake, isn't it?

What does this mean (police ticket)?

Not his place to inform you, call the number on the back of the ticket since 98% of tickets have a number on the back to call and they will be able to break it down. Going to get stuck with bill and higher insurance at least, but you had it coming, 20 over in every state I know they have the chance to revoke your license on the spot at their discretion.

First Speeding ticket. Help please!!!?

Sounds like double dipping on the charges. Speeding IS unreasonable. The speed limit is set as a reasonable speed for the location so speeding & driving an unreasonable speed are kind of the same thing.
As to your question, it indicates you have no idea how the driving record/court system works.
No, you cannot pay a fine to avoid points on your driving record. The points get there for driving violations. You pay fines for driving violations. Thus, IF you pay a traffic fine it is because you have violated a traffic law & the points for that violation get put on your driving record.
Since it is your 1st violation, you maybe able to go to traffic school so the points do not go onto your record. You will need to contact the court to see if that is an option in your case. Good idea if it is an option. It may actually cost more to attend the school [you do have to pay for the class] then to pay the fine but it should keep the points off your record which in turn will not give your insurance company a reason to raise your rates.
You need to read every word on the citation. Be sure to read what is near your signature. You will likely find something to the effect that your signature is not an admission of guilt but it is your promise to appear in court at the date & time indicated. You should also find something giving you a time frame to appear. It may not specifically give a date & time but it may state you have 15 days, or something similar. Be sure to take care of the citation within that time limit to avoid further charges.
