What does this accessory may not be supported mean?

So I was charging it yesterday when a message popped up saying this accessory may not be supported and my phone looks fine it doesn't have any damage or wire coming out because it has a protector so it won't bend and break but I don't know why I got that message twice yesterday even if I move a little it the same message popped up but when I was in my room charging it's working good and I didn't see the message again it's just sometimes it vibrates even if I turn off my vibration and email and notification to preserve battery life so what does this accessory may not be supported? Is my charger broken? What does the vibration mean even if you turn off your vibration or notification off?

IPhone: charging is not supported with this accessory?

All was well in my world. I was getting the juice I desperately needed from the plug, and I could carry on playing Angry Birds and logging long bike rides again. Bliss.

Some time had passed, and poof like that it stopped charging itself again. And there I was... looking at that stupid yellow exclamation point again. I picked up the other phone and called Apple... Right after hearing that first automated voice system, I hung up with Apple. I shrugged off their Apple protection plan 2 years ago when I purchased my phone. I was already formulating my own CS talk track for genius bar repair...

Next thought was that it was software related as I had physically cleaned it and then had tried all sorts of different power plugs with no success. Frustrated, I left it alone and I started to research the webz about iOS power management and my ageing device. Nothing really good came up except people experiencing this same issue, a seemingly prevalent one.

This is when I began to think my phone was really on the verge of death. So I synced my phone immediately and then nervously started exploring contingency plans like buying another phone or upgrading my plan... but none of those options made economical sense with the new phone about to come on the market.

DANETERRELL3the usual way to dela with that is by

1.try other USB cable,or charger.

2.Replace dock flex connector.

3.Reball/Replace PMIC.

Anything after that could be turning into a board level repair, due to failed SMD components, like the diodes. Hope this helps, good luck.

Can't seem to find guides on dock flex connector or PMIC. Starting to wonder if not better off replacing phone?

PMIC=Power Management IC dock flex connector= the cable on your dock connector. Check the connector on the board. Are you pretty handy with a multimeter and a soldering station?

I am having problems with my iphone as well. It kkeeps saying charging is not supported with this device. I have tried restoring it and a lot of other methods online. I also read that it could be the dock connector. I was just wondering if anyone knew any other methods to make this go away before i buy a new dock connector. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks sandy.

What does " charging is not supported with this accessory" mean?

It means the charger you are trying to sue is not compatible. It may or may not charge anyway depending on the charger, but in any case it's not advisable to try and force it.

Buy a compatible charger either a cheaper alternative like this [1] or the official Apple charger.

What makes an iPhone charger say ‘accessory not supported’ how can you prevent it?

There are generally two reasons you get a message like this:The cable or charger is not a MFi certified device (Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod) and is therefore simply not supported. Non-MFi devices can be very dangerous. Sadly, a lot of them are labeled MFi even when they are not, especially on Amazon and other third party sites. Look into the manufactures and find out if they actually are MFi certified. If they are not, steer clear of them. The cable or charger is damaged in some way, so the iPhone is reading it as a non-MFi device. I have a few cables like this that are of poor quality, in spite of being MFi certified. As they start to fail more and more, I have started getting that message pop up when I try to use them. They’re just low quality and failing. If so, replace them. I even had this happen to an Apple charger that came with my iPhone.

What does "use of accessory muscles" mean?

Normally, when you breathe, the diaphragm simply pushes down and the ribs (internal and external intercostal muscles) push out slightly to let air into the lungs. If someone is lifting their shoulders or really pushing out their chest wall when they inhale, it is called using accessory muscles. It means not enough air is getting into the lungs by the diaphragmatic/intercostal movement alone, so the body actually moves other muscles to create space in which the lungs can inflate. Muscles used include the sternocleidomastoid muscles (the muscles on the front sides of your neck that you use to turn your head), pectoral major and minor (chest wall muscles), upper trapezius (back of your head, neck and upper back), latissimus dorsi (from your armpit to your back) and others.

In a person with chronic breathing problems, these muscles are overused and the chest wall becomes barrel-shaped.
