What does it mean when peoples names are gray on facebook?
It means their accounts are either set to private, or they have disabled some of their privacy settings not to have anybody who's not a friend view their profile.. Try searching their name on the search in the top right of the page, if you find them, then it's the second option.. If you can't find them, then simply they have made their profile private, meaning you can't find a way to message them or add them or view their friends or anything, but they can leave traces of them as in comments on photos and walls.. Can you click on the name? You shouldn't be able to if they're set to private.. By the way, this has nothing to do with them blocking you or ignoring you as a friend.. They just don't want their profile to be public in the reach of anybody they have come across..

There are 4 different stamps in messenger. A clock symbol inside the circle stands for You're not connected to internet it'll be sent when you'll get connected to Internet. A blue tick inside the blue circle filled with white color stands for your message is sent.A white tick inside the complete blue circle stands for your message is delivered. If the circle is replaced by user's profile pic it stands for your message is read.Your message will remain as sent for 2 reasons.If you've sent a message to the person who's in your friends list it means the person isn't connected to Internet. It means they wrote on your wall. You just write on their wall to respond. It is just to show who contacted who. You could essentially replace the arrow with the word "to", meaning she wrote it to you and not the other way around.
