What Does It Mean If I Dream About My Brother Dying

I had a dream of my brother dying, what does that mean ?

So I don't see my brother very often because he moved out to go to college about 8 hrs from home & he doesnt come home often & when he does, he's always with his girlfriend & we used to be really close, we would argue but he's my big brother & I'm the little sister .anywho I had a dream of him dying, that he was working @ bk & that someone came & shot him, so he called all of my brothers saying that he was dying except me. & then since he was in the marines, 1 of the marines brought my brother in the casket . I was crying in my dream & I woke all scared & my eyes teary. So I was wondering what that could mean ?

I had a dream about my little brother dying. What does it mean?

Usually to dream of a death is symbolic of the end of something (in your life or the brother's life.) It could be loss of a job, a friend, a home, quit smoking, a major change of views, became a christian, or any number of things. If you are very close to your brother, the dream is probably about something ending/beginning in his life. If you are not close, the dream is about you ending something.

It could also be a death wish, depending on your relationship with him. Are you fighting?

If you are prone to ESP, it could be a prophesy or health warning.

What does it mean to dream about your brother dying?

i don't exactly remember what happened in my dream, but overall i remember that he was dead and everyone knew and acted like he was dead, but he was alive in my dream somehow and was like laughing and i was crying in my dream...then suddenly i woke up and i was crying in real life....
we both love each other, but we have our fights sometimes like any other brother and sisters...
what does this dream mean? i'm so scared...

What does it mean if you dream of a dead brother dying again?

It depends a lot on how you view your brother. Were you feeling the loss? You had difficulty accepting his death? If so, your dream could mean you came to accepting his death i.e. coming to terms with reality.Grief affects us in stages. At first, we typically deny the loss. We wish they were not dead. In that stage, they appear in our dreams as alive and we find nothing abnormal. Interestingly, the dead person will not appear in your dreams for some weeks/months after they die.In the next stage, the dead person in the dream makes us wonder if they were not really dead.In the third stage dream setting, you do accept that they were dead and wonder in the dream how they were back alive. In some cases you see them die again indicating you are now completely accepting the reality. In course of time as your grief ebbs, they appear infrequently in your dreams. When they appear in your dreams in that final stage, they evoke no particular emotion in you.The process here is, dreams have a therapeutic effect. They help you get over the trauma, the dream theme slowly changes towards making you accept the reality. Whether dreams produce the cure (as is suggested by some experts) or this dream therapeutic process merely reflects you coming to terms, it is difficult to say. My view is the former.

What does it mean to dream of dead brother?

Dreams often have emotion-based content, nobody can tell you how you feel, only you know that... so try to think of how it makes you feel, perhaps your brain is trying to help you treasure his memory?... I don't think it is much about dream symbols, but instead about a lesson for you to take note of.  If you were close to your brother it makes sense that he would be in your dreams because he was probably a big part of your life.  I don't think you can treat this as a way that your brother is returning to you, its more about the way your mind is working.Good luck and I wish you many future... Sweet Dreams.

Why am I dreaming about my brother dying?

You might have had this dream because you are worried about any real-life circumstances that currently could be a threat to his life (a fatal disease, a dangerous career, etc) This explanation makes the most sense and it means that your dream does not have to come true. It simply means that you’re concerned, and rightfully so.It could be something symbolic, and you feel that your relationship with your brother is dying. This is especially true if you haven’t contacted him in a while, and it might be your subconscious signaling you to check on him. In this case your dream doesn’t have to be taken so literally. You might have had a premonition that might actually come true (in my opinion, this is the least plausible out of all the possibilities)In ancient Korean culture, there’s a bunch of dream interpretations that can be surprisingly accurate. Once I had a dream my father died, and I told my mother about it. She said this was a good sign, and she told me that such dreams can mean that the opposite will happen in real life and my father will actually become more successful. Although you are probably not familiar with Korean superstition and don’t want to believe old wives tales, I’m just throwing that out there in case you’re interested.SIDE NOTE: here’s some more Korean dream interpretations if you want:dreaming that you are running after a pig and you catch it (or anything associated with a pig coming towards you) means that you will become rich very soon (if you don’t catch the pig, it probably means that you missed the opportunity)dreaming that you’re falling means that you’re about to have a growth spurtdreaming that your teeth are falling out actually means that a family member or someone close to you will die or have something bad happen to them soon (top row of teeth means someone of higher status or older than you, bottom teeth means younger siblings or relatives)Weirdly enough, animal poop as well as human excrement is associated with prosperity and good fortune in dreams (?)These are the ones my mother told me, and she heard them from Korean elders when she grew up in Korea. There might be other specific details that I didn’t include, but those are the main ones.Sorry I went on a tangent, I just wanted to share. Also, good luck with your brother. I hope your dream works out and has a good meaning!

What does it mean when I have a dream that my brothers died and wake up crying?

With all due respect, let the dream alone-meaning do not keep focusing on it or repeatedly trying to go deeper into analyzing or trying to be continuously discussing it-it also means let go means let go completely please; it was a dream-please do not keep on holding onto it please.Do not be anxious, worried, tense or even otherwise wondering or letting or even in part or in letting the background of your mind time and again- to keep going across to this-in between or in any way whatsoever. What instead you could do is pray and wish well as well live each and every moment with pure awareness as well as practice mediation; have faith as faith as-has faith has you-it means be true to your nature, do not at any time just pretend or say yes you understood and then deviating and getting distracted or carried away or provoked or carried away…. or for that matter, whatever it is/always face it with pure awareness, not letting your mind to dominate-separate your thoughts and awareness, for its not if you do this, that will happen or if you do that - then this will happen scenarios-meaning do not let your mind keep running different scenarios that is/are any way associated with the dream you mentioned or even in any remotely connected/referenced/associated of anything in that manner whatsoever, learn true practice the pure awareness discipline you have true be living with reality and not with getting affected or entangled-in any way/manner in any dream state of being/mind set please

Why did I have a vivid dream of my brother dying?

Im 15, he,s 17...Two months ago I had a dream that me, my mom, and dad were standing outside a funeral and were so saddened as my brother was missing(passed away). Then the dream ended...I just radomely dreamt this, and I didn,t even think of this the day before. Also in this dream it was so realistic looking and feeling. It actually felt like I lost my brother..Me and my brother have a strong closed past, as we used to play together..But when he was about 10 he started turning(against me) as he used to think I was annoying to him...So we were luaghing at eachother when we got whoopings, and he used to come running after me as I ran to the guest bedroom to lock the door. And we would just tease eachother, and get angry at eachother..Up until Summer 2010 when he got drunk at a wedding and when we got to the car to drive home at night he was hugging me for about 5 seconds and actally said sorry, Im so so sorry(whi,ll in tears). I just said said sorry back. And kissed me on my forehead, saying I love you.I said I love u too..And that,s where thing,s went back to normal...The next morning whi,ll I was sitting at the table eating breakfast, my dad told him to say goodmorning to your brother..He said good mourning, I said the same thing..And we havn,t talked ever sense then...On my 13th and 14th birthday, he gave me the love Kevin, and mom card(My parent,s are divorced. We were at her house for half my birthday)..He also wished me happy Birthday..Anyways why did I have this dream?Im still sort,ve scared, as it was vivid so I completly remember it to this day, so Im afraid it may come true..So can someone explain? Does any of my backround information have to do with this?

What if I see my brother dying in my morning dream?

Dreams are not real life, you cannot dream something bad happening to someone. Because dreams are just your mind getting rid of the stuff in the recycle bin of your brain. And our brains are not real smart at interpreting. You could have said something during the day like, “I wish he’d get lost.” And your brain, while throwing that comment out in the recycle bin will show you a dream like you had. And you would be saying, “no, no, no!!” But its just clearing all the crap that you’ll never use out of your brain.Unless you have a fear that your brother could be into some bad things, its probably just your brain cleaning house.
