What Does It Mean To Dream About Someone You Just Know But Fall For Them In Dreams

What does it really mean when you dream of someone you haven't seen in a while?

This EXACT same thing has been happening to me. I've dreamt about one particular ex of mine for the last 2 nights straight. I can't speak for everyone, but because I am a Scorpio, I tend to have premonitions from time to time. And whenever I have dreamt about this person in the past, it's usually a sign that I'm going to be contacted by them or see them in person in the immediate future. We haven't seen each other in person in almost 2 years now, and it's been well over a year since we've had any communication. But we have this strange ESP bond...I can't explain it. And I don't dream about him very often, so when I do, I always know something's up. I'll give you a perfect example.

A few weeks ago I dreamt about him for almost an entire week straight, and the dreams just would not leave me alone. On the fourth day, I was at work minding my own business, and my phone started ringing. It was from a restricted/blocked/private number, which immediately let me know that it was him, because he always does that. And everytime I would answer, he wouldn't say anything -- just linger on the line. These calls continued for 2 hours straight. He did this exact same thing before at my last job I had, where he would call the receptionist, ask for me, and then not say anything. But I busted him by answering the phone, and he started stuttering and claimed that he "had the wrong number." That was a bunch of BS, because he had previously worked there, too. So he knew the number like the back of his hand. ANYWAY...right around the time that I got these calls to my cell a few weeks ago after dreaming about him, the strangest thing happened. My current boyfriend informed me that he ran into my ex, because the ex went to my old job supposedly "on business." The facility I used to work at {and my current boyfriend works at} is literally an hour or more out of my ex's way, so I thought it was very weird that he would go out of his way to go to my old job like that. And apparently things were very tense between him and my boyfriend, because after seeing my ex, my boyfriend hasn't been the same since.

Since the other is a stranger, the dream is pointing at not a particular person but “your relationships in general” as the theme. ‘Dating’, in your dream may be indicative of a close personal relationship / rapport. If the theme is recurring you have to see if you feel lonely or you feel misunderstood or if any of your personal relationships is unsatisfactory or if it is just a wishful dream (of having a date with anyone). Otherwise, if the theme is not recurring i.e. if it is a one-off dream, you can forget it.

Do you mean this is someone you’ve never met or seen, someone you’ve only seen in the dream? Or someone you have seen but never met, or have met but haven’t gotten to know?In any case, it could be that you will meet this person and he will be the man you marry, or at least someone who will be important to you.It could just be a dream figure, perhaps created by your mind from others you know, features/characteristics you like, or maybe someone you saw passing by. In that case, think about why you liked him, what you liked about him, and use that to find someone like that.It could be that you dreamed about someone you’ve seen or met briefly and something you liked triggered the dream. When I was a kid in 6th or 7th grade, I had a dream about a boy in my class. He wasn’t someone I ever talked to. I’d barely noticed him before that time. He wasn’t my type - I’ve always liked bright guys, good-looking guys. He was quiet, not a great student, boring looking. But in the dream, he was really nice, kind of heroic, and I really liked him - in the dream. I took another look at school the next day, and he was just the same guy he’d always been. Thought about the dream, and he was still special, but only in the dream. I never did figure it out. But as you can see, I never forgot the dream, either.

Enamored — (Love; Poverty) To see oneself inflamed with love for someone in a dream represents distress, adversities, blindness, deafness or notoriousness. Such a case may draw people's compassion. If a sick person sees himself in a dream inflamed with love it may mean his death. Fire in a dream also means love. Love in a dream also means heedlessness and failure to fulfill one's religious obligations. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin

What does it mean when you dream of falling in love with a person of the same sex?

Hi hun,

There is nothing wrong with this a subconscious thought, or maybe you had seen something in the day that didnt really connect and it appeared in your dream.....I believe we have two levels of dreaming one that is conected to everyday life and thought pattern, and the other a more spiritual dream pattern... It doest mean your wanting this to happen even though your probably thinking more about it now than you did, Ive had dreams like this before and i told my b/friend poor man didnt no what to think and went and got a dream book. The only thing it said was i may have been trying to bring someone back to life by giving them the kiss of life!!!!! ok but i can assure you i wasnt

I think its life and the things we pick up on, dont worry go with the flow.... T

That ‘someone’ is generally a part of you that you don’t know—that is, it’s a part of you that you’ve been suppressing or that you haven’t let come to the surface. It wants to, tho, and is introducing itself in your dreams. Maybe something is happening in your life, right now, that this part of your personality would help you deal with.

Dreaming of some stranger in your dream often symbolizes a “stranger” part of yourself, as part that is not previously known to you.Meeting and getting to know a stranger, means getting to know a part of you that is previously unknown to you before. Like, you just discovered that you like going into adventures and you are indeed an adventurous person. The appearance of the stranger will often define which part of yourself is surfacing. So try to recall—I know it must have been a very long time ago, sorry for writing this just now—but try to recall how does the stranger appear, and what do you think and feel about the stranger? Also a dying stranger in your dream may mean, that this part of you is dying or disappearing, but since it’s a stranger you may not know it at all consciously, which is kinda complicated. But often there are parts of our thoughts that only exist in our subconscious level, and the only way to know it is by means similar to dreaming.Usually it is more clear to define if the person dying, is someone you know. Since these people, will always represent some part of you. Like you childhood friend may represent your childishness in general.

I’m sorry but i also want to ask something. I dreamed about a boy, i don’t know him and never met him before in real life. But in my dream, we’re friends and some of my friends and family knows him. I repeat in my dream. I fell inlove with him. And when i woke up, i’m just wondering is it possible that he really exists? Like in real life? I just want to know, cause i have this feeling inside me and tells me he does and maybe he could be half way around the world. And i want to find him. Is it weird? Sorryy

What if you dream of falling, but someone catches you?

To be more specific I had tripped when i sat up from siting on the stairs and I fell. I feared the wish i made when i was depressed (which was to fall down the stairs on my head && land on concrete to forget my whole life) was going to happen. The stairs were metal, but in my dream I was so positive I was going to fall on concrete and forget my three very best friends. One of them, the one that I'm in love with just stood up and catched me. He held me by my waist and made me stay with him so he could protect me & watch me. He did that until someone needed his help for something then he came back to me and asked if i was okay. Then i woke up. Only thing is in real life my phobia is of falling and I never thought he would catch me he does have feelings for me and cares about me alot though. He's very overprotective of me. We're not together cause he doesn't want to break my heart and ruin over friendship. Well anyways, I was never sure how much I could trust him. So anyone can help me identify this dream? Please & thank you.

My answer is YES. The first day at my new school I met her and immediately the following night I had a dream of her. I cannot remember what exactly happened in that dream but I just remembered us being more than friendly intimate. From that day on, I started to notice her more and more and developed special feelings for her. We became friends but I still consistently had dreams about her ever so often. However, even inside my dreams I was afraid to express my feelings for her. I suppressed myself just as much as in real life. Each time waking up from my dream my feelings for her became stronger. I begin counting the amount of times she was in my dream, and each night before I go to sleep I secretly wished to meet her in my dream again. (I know it's sounds kind of sick and pathetic but I can't help it)What happened later on was that we fought and I cut her out from life. My dreams stopped. But after two or three years I gradually forgive her and started thinking about her again. Then all of sudden my dreams begin again. It wasn't as often as the period I was with her but it appears here and there. This continued for another 2 years. During these two years in my dreams, I managed to finally be able to express my feelings for her but I was rejected or friend zoned every single time. Lately although the amount of times I dreamed of her did not become more frequent but each time I told her I love her and that I would do anything for her, my love was finally returned! In contrast, each time when I wake up it would torn my heart knowing that it was all my imagination. I feel desperate and pathetic but I can get over her. No matter if I already had relationships or that I'm currently in a relationship…I. Just. Can't.
