Vivid dreams of deceased loved ones?
My mother died about 4 months ago and my 28th birthday is Monday. She had been ill for about 15 years and I used to talk to everyday on the Telephone. Last night I dreamed that I was driving to work and she called me and asked me when I was coming home for my birthday (I live about 2 hours from my family). In the dream I thought I would make her sad if I told her I thought she was dead. I said that I was planning on leaving Friday but I changed my mind and I would be leaving after work today and I would take Thursday, Friday and Monday off so that I could see her. She said that would be nice. The stream stuck me as being so vivid and realistic. Her voice especially sounded like hers and even though we talked on the phone I could still see her some how. My driving to work felt like a dream but everything about her felt like reality. I don't know if it was her or not but it definitely made my upcoming birthday happier. Deceased loved ones coming to me in my dreams?
I lost a close friend of mine last September. She was 22. she died with her 1 year old son and her sister in law in a car accident. At the time of her death she and I hadn't talked in 4 years and I didn't know she had died until almost 3 weeks later. 3 weeks after she died another friend died. he was also 22. Also in a car accident. Then back in March I lost another friend, he was 21. He drowned after getting drunk so he could do a really stupid dare. He should've known better. I am not a religious person, I'm agnostic, but after all this I've turned to religion to try and help me cope. Whether I will join a church or any religion in particular is still up in the air. Right now I just want to get better. Well about 2 months ago my dead friends started appearing in my dreams. The first friend never talks to me in my dreams but her son is always playing with me. I never met her son when he was alive. Usually when the 2nd friend appears in my dreams he's always playing basketball (He was an athelete). I'm usually sitting in the bleachers watching or playing some 1 on1 with him when the baby appears again and wants to play some more. I swore that if the 3rd friend ever came to visit me in my dreams I was going to punch him for the stupid thing he did. when he did appear I was going to punch him when the baby appears again wanting to play some more. someone at work, who is really religious, said that if a deceased loved one appears in your dreams, it's their way of telling you that they've crossed over or something like that. that being said, does the Bible or anything in church suggests something like this? My friend said that it's just her son making up for the time I never got to have with him.

Honestly, this is only my opinion….but after my mama died, I missed her so much that my heart actually hurt. I tried so hard to dream about her. I wanted to see her, hear her. She was a amazing woman who would do anything for you. She was strong and the rock of our family. Beautiful and honest to a fault. So, every night I would say “"please, please let me dream of my mom”. I would think about her until I fell asleep. It took about 2 years after her death and then it happened. In my dream my mama was standing there after she had just awoken from a nap. Now mind you….when she died - like many do - I only remembered the good times and the loving times. But in the dream….just as in real life, if mom napped past 30 minutes then she would be grouchy every single time. In my dream she had her hands on her hips and she very angrily said to me “"you need to get over it right now”. She disappeared instantly and I was jolted awake. I was upset for days! Then I realized that was my mom's way of reminding me that everything was not always perfect. I felt at that moment like I had all my life when mom was angry at me. Two feet tall and wishing to escape. Would I change anything about my mom? NO. But she was a no nonsense lady and I believe she gave me the message that she would have in true life. Get over it. Move on. I have not dreamed about her since. So I believe that was her message from beyond.
