What Does It Mean When You Dream Of Someone Who Is Dead But Dated Them In The Dream

What does it mean if you dream of someone you love?

The content of our dreams come from real life experiences. In this way, dreams are best understood as the replaying of memories — of something that has already happened or that you’ve imagined happening in your waking life. So, the dream of the beloved is only a memory of the person or a memory of the love you have for that person. On the other side, dreams of those you have less-than-loving feelings towards, can trigger memories of frustration, contempt, longing, or sadness and these can take on many forms. To give an example, I was in a difficult relationship once and while we were dating (and for a short time after) I used to have these really vivid dreams that I was yelling at my parents. When I would awake, I was almost shaking, fearful of the possibility that I had in fact actually yelled at my parents — which I would have never done in real life.In our dreams we witness our innermost desires, which also include destructive thoughts and habits, wish fulfillments (particularly in the dreams of children), or the replaying of memories.

What does it mean when you dream about someone that died?

first i would like to tell you about my experience……recently almost a week before, my grandma died…..she was a heart patient and was suffering from a long time.everyone went to meet her(she lived in village) but due to some reason i was that unlucky one who was not able to meet her……..but later on when her all her funeral rituals were over i dream of her….she was blessing me in my dream…next day i told this to my parents, they told me that it was all because of the guilt…..i was quite confused….that night only, i did surfing and got some satisfying reasons of this …..and this what i want to share……it could be due to your guilt which u are having for that particular person may be of not doing anything for him /her or may be not fulfilling his /her last wish or may be not meeting him or her before his /her last breath.second reason could be that you are most of the time thinking of him or her and that is what your subconscious mind dreaming of that person.it is mostly said that if soul does not rest in peace it tries to make her leftover work through someone and therefore her near and dear ones dream of that person but this only in the case of the person who died with some incomplete desire or purpose.at last ….what astrology say…..dreaming of someone who has died indicates that some thing old in your life is going to finish and something new is going to happen…like a child birth in your family,a new opportunity ,a business profit or something else good…..now its up to you which reason you find relevant …….in my case i think it is first one…..i miss my grandma very much…..and i will always feel this guilt of not meeting her before her death…..

What does it mean if someone in a dream tells you the exact date of your death?

Wow here’s one I had. In the dream I was walking down a street full of fellow students, and little slips of paper fluttered down from the sky. People were picking them up and reading them. Each paper told that person how long they would live. People were saying, ‘Oboy I’m gonna live another 80 years,” or, “on no, “I’m gonna die before my kids graduate from college,” but I was not listening closely, or I might have not picked up a piece of paper. My paper said I would die in 6 weeks. At first I was stunned. Then I started really listening to what other people were saying; and their reactions were so petty, so spoiled, and so defeatist in advance of whatever life awaited them.I began to feel unburdened of all such thoughts which were dormant in me as possibilities. I woke up feeling great ! I felt the ‘deadline was nott true, but the lessons were. All of us get a piece of paper. You are not the only one. Secondly, don’t take the date as prophecy. I would say my dream meant that I was focusing on shallower and inconsequential things at the time, and the dream woke me up.

What does it mean if you dream about someone dying?

There are two dream symbols: death and someone.Dreams about death only indicate that something or a situation ends. Often dreams about death are connected to another ‘dream symbol’ such as a rising sun. This symbol is missing. It is therefore incorrect to say death is about a transition, as in this case it is only about an ending. If you want to know what the dream means, it is important to know who that someone is. It may be about a real person, but may as well be about what that person represents. For instance, if your mother dies in your dreams, then it often is a dream that signifies that a period of caring has ended and that it affects you emotionally.Nevertheless, it may just as well mean that your mother died and that you miss her presence. Dreams are often indirect, so people who die in your dreams often haven't died at all (nor will predict death). It is what they represented that died - their characteristics (and its influence) which you previously experienced has currently ended.

What does it mean to dream of dead brother?

Dreams often have emotion-based content, nobody can tell you how you feel, only you know that... so try to think of how it makes you feel, perhaps your brain is trying to help you treasure his memory?... I don't think it is much about dream symbols, but instead about a lesson for you to take note of.  If you were close to your brother it makes sense that he would be in your dreams because he was probably a big part of your life.  I don't think you can treat this as a way that your brother is returning to you, its more about the way your mind is working.Good luck and I wish you many future... Sweet Dreams.

What does it mean when you have a dream of kissing someone else, but you are dating someone?

Dreams are funny. It often means no more than the meaning that we give it, which is to say what does it mean to you? It could mean nothing and only strengthens your relationship as you realize it's not what you want, or it could mean you're falling for someone else. Or, and this is where it gets really fun, it can plant ideas in our head that weren't there until the dream. What I mean by that is that dreams can be so real feeling, we can start to think maybe we really feel a certain way, and maybe we do or maybe we don't or maybe we want to. I would caution you to give yourself some time to recall and decide what you really feel, rather than acting on it or letting you get very confused. Also, remember, it's not cheating if you didn't actually do it, so if your conscious is bothering you, give it time and it will pass, acting only as a reminder that you shouldn't cheat on him or that's how you'll wind up feeling in real life.I like to think of dreams as a learning ground for things we can't or shouldn't actually do in life, or a playground for the mind. It can do what it wants, but it's up to you to decide what you do with it.Personally, I've had a lot of flying dreams because I can't fly in real life, and because it gave me an opportunity to gauge and battle with my confidence levels. But then I've also stolen in my dreams, visited hell like it was the “hottest” club in town, beaten a giant toddler with a cupboard door which I felt really terrible about but it was a dream so I guess whatever, and almost got sucked into the “Land of Forgotten Things” which was every bit as creepy as it sounds btw, and very depressing too.So, as they say in Disney movies, look in your heart and it will tell you what it means.
