How long does it take to get finals grade in college?
It depends upon the school's policy and how fast the professor works. It is possible for you to get your final grade that quickly, but I wouldn't count on it. Particularly if the exam was complex, it will take some time for the professor to grade them. At that point, the professor needs to look at all of your grades for the semester, consider things like class participation, etc., and decide for each student what the final grade will be. The professor then has to submit the final grade, typically (although not always) by electronically submitting them to the college computer. So yes, it's possible to get them that fast (particularly if the professor is working against a tight deadline), but it's far from certain.

my friend took a english class at a community college we go to. she told me she does not have a final exam test. her teacher said everyone in class they dont have a final exam. is that true? some classes in college dont have a final exam test? im thinking she failed the class and decided not to take the final exam test. is she lying or is she telling the truth? i thought all academic college classes have a finals....

My admission to college was cancelled?
I just got a horrifiying email saying I missed on important deadlines to turn in final documentation and my admission was cancelled. I did not see any of these alerts in the past and am freaking out! I am in an area that receivies little to no internet connection and had to travel a mile to access my email. I did not have the opportunity to send in any of the necessary documentation as well, but then again I never knew I was supposed to turn in any information! I need help! I do not know if I should put in an appeal or how to even do that. I wanted to call my admissions office but they are closed on the weekends! Please serious responses, as I am desperately in need of help!
I missed a college final, what could happen?
On the course syllabus, it should say how much the final counts towards your final grade (20%, 60%, 100%, etc). If you have an A in the class already, and the final counts for 20% of your grade, assume that you will get ~80% in the class. If you are a good student who participated regularly in the class, your professor might be more lenient with you. It's always a good idea to make a good impression on your professor and to keep them informed of any chronic illness, extended absence, etc. If your teacher knows you care about the class, they will likely be more willing to help you. On another note, many, many of my professors in college held the final during the last week of classes instead of during finals week. It's a common practice, so make sure you know that this might happen in the future. You were good to email the professor right away; I'd explain the situation, apologize deeply for missing the test, and say ask if there is any way you can make the test up --- at the professor's convenience.
