What does it mean to be edgy? & what does it mean to be girly?
The way I see it... Edgy is someone who is a little "rocker"ish but not excessively. They might have sharp side bangs. They might wear a leather jacket or a purse that is covered in studs. When I think of edgy makeup I think of black eyeliner. But edgy should not be thought of as emo. I think it is just about having an edge, for lack of a better word, that most people might not have. Doing something a little different and a little more out there than your t-shirt and jeans. A person with an edgy personality is more someone who is quirky and has fun with what they do, not as concerned with what other people think. Girly on the other hand is just feminine, looking good, keeping on trend. Style? Lace, ruffles, skirts, dresses that hit above the knee, skinny jeans. A girly person is not afraid to wear pops of color in their outfit. Hair I think of either straight and sleek or nice waves/curls. Personality-fun, eager with life, but more worried about what other people think of them. And makeup, mascara, lipgloss, rosy blush. Sometimes eyeliner but usually not as much as someone who is considered, say, edgy. A lot of people are girly with an edge. This means that they like to stay on trend-ie, a floral print dress but they might add something that's not as on trend but more geared towards their style, like a denim jacket, which is a little more old-fashioned but still something they might like. Is being edgy a bad thing?
If its you and not because its trendy and because someone else is doing it. Then no. Be yourself because its the way you feel. Because you can be no other way except acting and communicating with the words that are how you can understand the world and if thats what truly makes you the person everone meets then own up to it. Be A man. Own up to your principles. Dont let someone convince youre not who you are otherwise. Only you know the best way to understand things. If youre a visual learner then you need demonstrating. If you can read a book and be good then youre fine. Thats why i hate the current educational system. People are not all the same.

Looking for kinda edgy/spunky girls names for a CHARACTER IN A STORY. She's gonna be kind of "emo", I guess, and I can't think of names that I'm happy with that fit her. So far I have the names Jazmyn and Raine picked out but I'm not quite happy with them. Can you think of some more?
What is a good EDGY solo song for a YOUNG contemporary dancer?
I, along with my teachers, are looking for a song to do my first contmporary solo to. IT MUST BE AGE APPRORIATE. If it is not, no matter how good I dance the judges will give me a 0. By age appropriate, I mean no songs about love or stuff like that. I would like the story to be something like a friend going away, being in a fight with a friend, things like that. AGE APPROPRIATE DISCLUDES: Artists like Imogen Heap, Charlotte Martin, The Fray, OneRepublic, ADELE, Tori Amos, Kate Vogele, etc. Their songs are too mature and too powerful.
