What Does Moh Stand For?

What does the Korean word "mwo" mean?

뭐 (mwo) is generally a question, it means “what”.like in the sentences :이름이 뭐예요 ? What’s your name이름 (ireum) = name이 (i) = subject particle뭐 (mwo) = what예요 (yeyo) = “is” in the polite informal way of speaking/writingor뭐야 !?뭐!? (mwo) = what!?야 (ya) = informal way of speaking(Sentence that implied/means “what ?!” “seriously?!”or “can your repeat !?” as in english when we say “What?!” actually.)There are some others words for “what” but not use in the same context or sentences. But to sum up 뭐 (mwo) means what.

What does "MOH" and "MAYA" actually mean?

Everything in this world is an illusion. Some even interpret that whatever we are is actually happening in the dreams of GOD. "MAYA" is the illusion. In Mahabharat, the Indraprasth built by Pandavas had many illusion elements. You might see a fire, but it was actually not fire. Since Dhuryodhan experienced many illusion elements, when there was actual water, he couldn't differentiate between illusion and reality. He fell into water causing a Mahabharat to happen.  This is illusion. If you do not differentiate illusion from reality, you cannot survive. Illusion is that, this moment is present in this world and reality is that this moment would never be present in the next moment. Now, getting into this illusion and not getting out of that is "MOH". It's about the worldly pleasure one gets into and is not able to get out of the pleasures one enjoy. Getting attached with people not realising that those very people won't be present tomorrow is "MOH and MAYA". Bhagavat Gita explains MOH and MAYA very well. When Arjun hesitates to fight against his ancestors and people whom he love, Krishna says, why be saddened about things that's not real. The reality is, we ourselves are not real. What is real is our soul. Today my soul is in me, I am surrounded by people whom I love, but tomorrow the same soul will be in some other person, surrounded by different people whom I love. Krishna asks us not to get into this MOH and MAYA and live a freely spirited life and not worry about what is an illusion. Where does bridesmaid/groomsmen stand during ceremony?

Our alter will be a small circular stage in the middle of the room where bride, groom and officiant will be elevated a little off the ground. The chairs/pews will be setup as two semi-circles on either side of the stage.

Where do I place my bridesmaids and groomsmen? They should be standing the entire ceremony, correct? And where would the MOH and BM be in case we need them to do things (eg. hold bouquet, fix dress, rings, etc)? But cannot block anyone seated.

Thank you!

Where do they stand throughout the ceremony?

Why does my friend say "sab moh maya hai" when I ask him whether he has a girlfriend or not?

That is because ye sach me moh maya hai. Be happy for your friend that he has found the eternal truth of life. Having a girlfriend or not having one do not matter and is neither significant. Even if he has one, why do you think he needs to answer you about it.And even if he do not have one, why do you think he needs to answer you about it.And most importantly why do you want to know about it anyway. According to the Holy Gita too, this world and everything in it is mere illusion based on our desires and hence sab moh maya hai.

Asked to be a stand-in bride at the rehearsal? ?

Is this wedding taking place in the South (US)? If so, it's kind of an old, Southern tradition that the bride is the only "real" member of the wedding party. So, during the rehearsal, someone (usually the MOH) stands in for the bride so that they aren't "really" getting married. My grandmother worked as a coordinator and bridal consultant for years in Atlanta, and I remember her telling me this when my cousin got married. The "stand in" bride is usually the MOH, because it's the woman closest to the bride. Since your friend has asked YOU to do this, I would take it as an enormous honor.

I think your friend is being very generous by including you in the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, as well as hair/makeup before the ceremony. I think she felt with you living so far away that having you actually be in the wedding party would be impractical, but it sounds like she wishes you were part of her bridal party. I would think twice about declining, if I were you.

Can the MOB be the MOH?

I'm not engaged, but my mama and I got on the topic of weddings the other day and I figured I'd ask this and see what y'all thought about it.
My mama is pretty much my best friend and when we got to talking about weddings she said something about her being my MOH. I told her I would absolutely LOVE it if she could, but her duties as the MOB would be plenty without adding those of the MOH. She said "oh, yeah" and we went on talking about our topic. However, afterwards, i began thinking more about it. What would you think if the MOB was also the MOH? I'm very traditional so I'm a little if-y on that thought, but I don't think it would be THAT bad of an idea.
Your thoughts?
