What Does Part Time Primerica Rep Do

To all Primerica reps....?

I don't know what that particular Primerica rep saw in you, but seeing what I see from other successful business leaders in Primerica, anyone can do this business. There's a guy name Keith Otto who earns over $3 million/year. He's been in the business just over 20 years. Before Primerica, he was a plumber full time and taught karate part-time. Obviously he has no financial experience at all and he didn't go to college either. Now he's totally financially independent and does whatever he wants. He's only 42 years old!

Anyway, Primerica gives almost everyone the chance to try this business. I say almost because Primerica is a regulated industry and they deal with people's money. So they don't hire criminals, people who file for bankruptcy in the past 10 years, people under the age of 18, and people who are not a legal citizen of that country where Primerica is located. (Primerica is located in USA including Puerto Rico, Canada, and Spain).

If you succeed in Primerica by becoming a Regional Vice President, you can tell your amazing story to the world on how you were a janitor and now earning whatever amount. If you decide to quit, at least you will leave with a valuable financial education.

Is primerica a good part time job?

I just paid this rep $99 to do a background check and he said some is refundable if i decide not to go through with it and now i'm starting to have second thoughts. Has anyone ever worked for this company and can tell me about it? And if so, can i still get my money back?

Can I trust Primerica?

Hola! Primerica is a "Finance supermarket" they dont sell insurance or do the finances themselves they find the best company for each client and with a  contract make sure the client gets what they pay for. So legally is not an scam, or anything illegal. How u make money? you teach people how to prepare their life insurances, retirement plans and other services. sounds boring but trust me is extremely important to learn this stuffs or people will reach old age poor. you are really helping them and the company pay you. you never touch the person money.  besides they train you is not like you need a degree to enter.I know a guy he started at 18 now is 24 married making a lot of money in Primerica his Name is Cristian. How you know this is real? is a public company, their are in the stock market (PRI) and their shares are rising constantly. So, why some people say is a scam? because to work in FINANCEs that will be certified by your state you have to pay $100+ for background check. and most dumb people never do any work they just think money will appear in their account.  they dont do any study that is even provided for free by primerica and never work. those say is a scam. The others who are working everyday or at least part time are making $$$ in their own schedule, no boss, no pressure. How much could you make as part time? 30k a year on your own starting out with no prior experience. as time pass you could make 100k or 400k that I personally seen checks that size. just stick to it study and work. my brother wife made once $14k in one month. I mean the more you work the more u get if you dont work you get nothing. Some people have the 9-5 mentality have a boss , a manager and 30 minutes lunch break and don't know how to get out that.

Primerica Membership?

There is no such thing as a Primerica membership. You are either a client or a representative. The number you refer to is the Primerica Online (POL) support number for Primerica representatives. Are you a Primerica representative?

If you are a representative, then your membership ID is called the "solution number." You should talk to your upline or RVP or whoever recruited you to find out what your solution number is. Then you would ask them on how to change your POL subscription to limited service (which is a free service to POL with limited options)

How legit is Primerica?

Yes 100% legit. No limits, no quotas. If you are looking for an hourly wage job, this isn’t it. This is for self-motivated sales and service providers who want to work for themselves, as contractors, providing great financial value to a needy customer base, and getting paid via commissions, fees, overrides, residuals, bonuses, and trips.Part-timer, flexible full-time, and ownership positions are available and attainable.Products provided to clients include: Term life insurance, discounted Legal services, Auto/Home insurance, Long-term care insurance, Mutual funds and Managed Accounts for accounts like : Emergency Fund, Planned Spending, Retirement, College Savings, and Wealth-transfer.

Does anyone work or know someone who works for Primerica?

I've been working at Primerica for 4 years and obviously you have a reason for asking this question. You are wondering if you can succeed in this business or not. Are you going to base your future on how other people fail or people who succeed in this business? The income of each representative is base on his/her efforts. You have to understand that this is a business. Most people who start a business, whatever that may be, don't see profits right away. It takes time and hard work.

Right now, you put in $99 to start your business. If you are coachable, follow the success system, and get licensed, you could earn a profit within 2-3 months.

When I started, I didn't make any money in my first 2 months. I joined in 2004 and it was $199. I failed the state exam on my first try, which cost me $78. So now I have a loss of $277. 4 days later after failing my state exam, I took it again and pass. I had to pay $78 again to retake it and I also had to pay $65 for fingerprinting, so I have a loss of $420 at this point. 2 weeks (entering the 3rd month) after getting my temporary state life license, I did a life insurance transaction and got paid $472.50. So I saw my first profit of $52.50 in my third month. In the 4th month, Primerica reimburse me for passing my state exam and my fingerprinting. So I got paid $143. So now I have a profit of $195.50.

Right, now I earn a monthly income between $1000 to $2000 on a part-time basis helping 3-4 families per month. My team sometimes help families, but not all of the time. The reason I work part-time in Primerica is because I also have a full time job that I like to do.

Primerica isn't it a scam. They do pay their representatives money. Right now, they are paying bonuses to everyone who qualifies to get it. You should ask the RVP about the "Surge Team" on how to get that bonus. Anyway, here's my blog on how Primerica is not a scam: http://obe231.blogspot.com/2008/06/is-primerica-scam.html

You should ask yourself why you join Primerica in the first place if you feel that the company is a scam? You must of saw something that made you want to try this business out. Anyway, I don't know if Primerica is for you or not. But what you should do is get more information from the person who invited you down and ask him why he join the business.

What are some tips to being successful when doing Primerica?

It is a MLM company, thus, their claims cannot be trusted. They need to “recruit, recruit, recruit” . So, check their financial reports for a reliable source of information. According to the report, the average agent sell 0.22 policy a month! and in a year they earn about $6,200 on average. How can this be good numbers?? If you or anyone wants to try it, go to the meeting but DO NOT give them your best Contact information numbers. Else, they will contact them on your behalf to sell or recruit. They will ask for these numbers to sell their products even though you don’t have a license yet! So if you sell something, guess who keeps the commission… your recruiter!
