Has racism(ethnicityism) become the liberals FINAL bulwark of defense?
It appears that the liberals use ethnicity like the defunct 'moral right' used it's version of morality, all for political manipulation. From selling tires to 'particle beam theory', ethnicity seems to be where the liberals end up when getting the living bajesus beat out of them on a political issue. The liberals attempt to get folks rallying behind them through the age old divide & conquer ethnicity tactic, is just an effort to promote their vision of 'one world through communalism. Problem is... ethnicity discrimination has been a dead issue for decades. People have long ago figured out that humanity in it's entirety is one race. People could care less now a days about another's ethnicity, like if she has the T&A with a well proportioned body who cares what her ethnicity is! As the old moral right of so long ago learned the hard way that deceit only hastened their demise, one would think that the liberal ethnicity baiters would have learned from that example by now. Will the liberals ethnicity baiting tactics prove to be the bulwark that broke the liberals back???
Why do people call me "liberal" when I make comments in defense against prejudice remarks?
I had a buddy one time who happened to be downtown Seattle during the WTO riots. He didn't care about them, he had business to do. He’d gone into a coffee shop and noticed the noise outside increasing, so he stepped out. What he saw was a mass of people on one side, and a wall of police on the other.He turned toward the police line, thinking he’d just let them know he wasn't with the protesters and would they please just let him through so he could leave the area. Instead, the police shoved him into the protesters, assuming he was one of them in spite of his telling them that he wasn't.Thats how it is. This situation you find yourself in, is created by the assumption that because you speak out about bigotry, you must be a liberal. And that's 90% of the problem we’re having in this country.As it goes, if you're conservative in anyway, you automatically must belong to the KKK and there's no other possible explanation, such as a difference in political opinion.If you have the slightest left lean, you must be a liberal. Likewise, saying racism is wrong for reasons beyond my comprehension, also gets you labeled as a liberal… I just can't figure that one.It's the same thing as that riot- if you're not one side, you're automatically the other. The choice, apparently, isn't yours to make. It is for this reason that I've deemed them ALL crazy.

I think Chris has hit the nail on the head.Boris quite often uses provacative language to make a point and it gets him into trouble but lets look at the possibilities:Boris says“I don’t think banning the burkah is a good thing. However we are a nation where nation where non-verbal communication, particularly facially is very important. Therefore men should not be forcing women to put such barriers to communication into place in a modern world”or“I think it’s wrong to ban the burkah as has been done in other countries. However it is also wrong to dress a woman as a black letter box or bank robber as this takes away their rights and impedes communication”Which one is going to snatch your attention and make you read the column? At least people are now talking about the possibility of a ban and whether or not it would be appropriate.I will put my personal view to try and stop the undoubted comments of supporting racism.I believe that, religious culture being considered or not, the full face veil is not acceptable in a modern country. I’d be interested if somebody could show me where in the Q’ran it says that a woman must dress like this.The wearing of the Niqab should be allowed. It meets the middle of the road of being able to see and assess non-verbal communication whilst meeting cultural sensitivities.If I moved to an Arab state would my wife be allowed to wear shorts and a bikini top on the street? Infact Hitler had a Jewish friend, Emil Maurice (Note: I'm not comparing you to Hitler I'm just saying that sometimes people can overlook a person's race [despite the fact that they are racist] and have some sort of friendship with them). Your comment that black people are violent is merely an opinion, there are violent people within all ethnic groups. Infact most experts are of the opinion that violence is generally a product of one's environment. For example, Whites from a lower socio-economic backgroung are far more likely to commit a violent crime than those from a higher one. I have African-American friends and they're not violent. As I believe in non-violence and pacifism I would never be friends with anyone who was violent. Your welcome for the thumbs down. Conservatives need to return to the "good old days" when good White loving Christians were able to genocide the Natives, commit crimes against humanity on Blacks including rapes , tortures and killing/lynchings and a host of other Christ like behaviors that at long last the Supreme Court has judged illegal /unconstitutional . Our constitution concept that ALL MEN ARE BORN EQUAL is an anathema to these racists They long for the good old days of John Wayne and Allan Ladd when all a person needed was not laws but a gun to kill and eliminate all who challenged them .This is why many of them are Zimmerman fans .
