In Tunisia (Sousse) can you buy broadband dongles that you plug into your into your netbook?Expensive?

Yes you can there are 3 main providers

Tunisiana http://www.tunisiana.com/

Orange Tunisia http://www.orange.tn/

Tunisie Telecom http://www.tunisietelecom.tn

They are available on contract or pay as you go.
The sticks usually cost between 80-100TND so up to £40 so not expensive and they are very common here.

Free Wifi is available in most coffee shops just ask for the password!

I have an orange one which I pay 33TND a month top up (3TND is tax) it gives 7GB for one month and free internet between the hours of 11pm - 8am
Signal can be low in some areas.

You need to take your passport with you to a main official shop in order to buy one.
Hope that helps

What is the wireless sync dongle for Fitbit?

This is the wireless fitbit dongle - it's a small USB that allows your fitbit device to synchronize it's data onto a laptop or computer and upload that information to the fitbit website on your dashboard.  To find out more about it, please visit What is the wireless sync dongle and how do I use it? If you've lost it, you'll need to order a new one from somewhere like Fitbit - Wireless Sync Dongle for Flex, One and Zip Fitness Trackers - Black.  Not an endorsement, just an example.

What is a good prepaid phone card and data card/prepaid dongle for laptop Internet connectivity while traveling to Paris for 5 days?

I have researched this issue for over several months in that I will be traveling to Europe with my family for over a month.there are 4 choices: Add the "Int'l Plan" to your US plan.  This is the most expensive (approximately $125+ and no more than a GB of data per month). Bring an unlocked phone with you, and when you land visit a kiosk to pick up a "monthly sim" from the likes of Orange (in France).  There are others in other countries.  The problem with these are although they are approximately $40/month, if you (like we plan) will visit other countries, you will have to do this each time you arrive in a new country.  Thus, when we get to Germany, we will have to buy a second monthly sim, and then to Spain, a third.  This is supposed to be corrected when the EU implements the EU-universal system next year (?) that allows for these SIMS to work across borders. But a Google Nexus 5x, 6, or 6P and enroll in Google's "Project Fi."  This service is $20/month + $10 per GB (as much as you want to use) AND it works seamlessly in over 120 countries (and most or the EU). My son purchased this phone and uses it as his primary US phone.  When he lands with us at CDG, it is supposed to work just like it does in the US - for the same costs!  We'll see.  Downsides:  the phones are over $300 and you might have to change your service to Project Fi (unless you want to buy the phone only for the EU trip, then sell it on e-bay when you return). There is a relatively new service called "Net Service Connect" that allows you to purchase a sim for $40 per month.  It claims tat it too works in over 120+ countries.  It includes 10 -- TEN! -- GB of data and "free" texting.  Voice calls are approx $.05/minute.  This is the plan we plan to use on our other 5 phones -- for one month.  There is another option:  others have advised that they have used the plentiful, and apparently, free, wifi that is located in all of the major cities.  You must have wifi calls or other aps to call and text though.  Another of my sons, plans to try this.  Again we'll see.

Can I use a sim from my mobile which already has data, in a dongle to use internet on my computer?

If you have SIM card with data pack and want to use High-speed internet with the computer then my suggestion is to use USB tethering option. Check this blog post to know How to share mobile internet with a computer using USB tethering and use high-speed internet. Now, why not a dongle with SIM card?Internet speed with the dongle is slower than USB tethering.Sometimes dongle disconnects the internet automatically. If the network is poor then dongle can't connect internet properly. You must have a 4g dongle to use the 4g network with the dongle. Now check why you should use USB tethering instead dongle? Check below…USB tethering gives high-speed internet than a dongle. You don't need to spend the extra cost to buy a dongle. Just you need a USB cable that you have.Internet will not be disconnect while you using USB tethering. You don't need to insert or open SIM card again and again. Now if you have a dongle and mobile then you can test them. Just you need a data cable. If you agree with me and want to use USB tethering then visit this blog link and follow all the steps. Here is the blog post link - How to share mobile internet with a computer using USB tethering and use high-speed internet.

How can I watch TV using an Android Box / Dongle?

I was just scrolling through the 5 replies and none of them are really answering the question. The guy is just looking for the easy answer on what to actually do rather than talk about tech stuff or where to buy an android box. So here is my answer…Step 1: connect your box/done to your TV via hdmi or plug the done directly in.Step 2: connect to your WiFi.Step 3. This all depends on what's on your box. If it's a fully loaded box, you will have kodi on it and will have instant access to movies, live TV etc… You will literally have a movie menu, a sports menu etc where you can browse what you want. Quality varies greatly here so do your research and find someone reputable. If it's a cheap box, it can be great for movies but suck for live TV. There is an app you can download onto your Android box called mobdro (go to your browser on your Android box and Google mobdro.com) which is very reliable and has all the sports and TV channels (don't expect HD quality)If you ever get stuck and need some friendly free advice setting up your box, you can email me through the contact page at http://www.androidbox.com

Wi-Fi enabled phone + 3G Broadband Dongle + Huawei D100 Router?

Ok, I may be way off but I'm just playing around with mobile internet ideas.

If I were to carry around a Huawei D100 Router (http://www.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/Huawei_D100_Router ) with a 3G broadband dongle connected. Would I be able to connect my Wi-Fi enabled device (e.g. Phone) to it?

Thanks for hearing out my random brainstorms.

:) Luv Tamsin

Can I buy a WiFi router from the UK, and use it in India? Is there any regional restrictions which will prevent me?

You can use it, but may need to ensure that certain WLAN channels are operating at legally appropriate transmit power and in appropriate settings (indoors versus outdoors, point-to-point versus point-to-multipoint, etc.), as TRAI and Ofcom set different rules for different band plans. Read List of WLAN channels for more information.
