What Drinks Should I Take To A House Party

Could the cops bust a house party?

Say my friend is going to attend a certain house party. At this party, there will be underage drinking, but absolutely no weed. Once guests come in, the host will take their keys for the night (it's an overnight party). Once all guests have arrived, the doors will be locked, and everybody will be completely inside. All windows will be locked, and blinds closed. The music won't be audible from outside of the house. The cars will be parked a neighborhood away on the street, not blocking anyone's driveway/car. There will be about 125-150 people here, mostly underage. Could the cops bust the party if they get an anonymous tip (since I can see no reason why the neighbors would call the cops)? If they show up and the host greets him OUTSIDE his door, politely stating he does not consent to their searching of his house, is there any way that the cops would still bust this party? Doesn't the 4th Amendment protect against this?

What alcohol drink should I take to a house party?

I'm going to a house party and I'm not sure which drink to take. I usually take Smirnoff vodka or captain Morgan rum but I'm looking to switch it up. My friend is taking Jack Daniels so I'm not sure what I should take. I'm going to be with some girl friends so I would like to able to offer them a drink that's not to overbearing. Should I take Jack Daniels Tenessee Honey or a flavored rum? Please recommend some other drinks for me. Thanks

Best alcoholic drinks for a house party?

What is the demographic for this house party? Are we talking early 20's college students, young working professionals, or married with kids types.

College students like 2 things "Lots, and Cheap" so i would go with lots of beer and cheap vodka.

young working professionals, like seem more sophisticated but still like to drink like they did in college so i would go with "Lots and Fancy" in this case, Lots of fancy micro-brews and medium and top shelf liquor that doesn't taste like you just dumped a bottle of rubbing alcohol in a glass.

Married with kids types like "Moderation, and Fancy" So get whine and finger foods, or just tell those cheapskates to bring their own booze.

Hope this helps

What do I bring to a BYOB house party if I myself don't drink alcohol?

If you want, I mean I wouldn't mind if I were there. If you don't drink, then they'll understand. If you want extra kudos, then Id bring alcohol, but overall, it really doesn't matter, just If you don't bring any, don't expect to free load off others. (Yes those people exist)However with you, that problem shouldn't/isn't going to arise because you do not drink. It's up to you (:

Whats a House Party like?

Hmm well it depend on who's throwing it (and what they can get their hands on)
Older (adult) parties-
-drugs
-sex
-stripping
-dry humping
-alcohol
-food
-regular drinks
- music
-dancing (yeah mostly humping)

But at regular kid house parties
- food
- drinks
- maybe the occasional make out
- dancing
- music

But that's usually if theres gonna be parents there supervising the place. But if there isn't... it's gonna be WILDD! =D

Can I get arrested for throwing a house party?

Next Friday I am throwing a big party. No parents. At least 60 people will be there. There will be underage smoking, and drinking. There will also be loud music. Will the cops show up? What will happen if the cops show up??? PLZZZ HELP!!

Last weekend my 16-year-old came home from a house party drunk and was sick (so not just 1 drink). What’s your opinion on a reaction?

Having recently just gotten out of this phase of being ‘young and wild’ so to speak, I feel that the most important thing is to acknowledge the fact that this could happen again. And the last thing you want is your kid to think that if he wants to continue doing this then he needs to hide it from you.Coming from a family where nobody drinks alcohol and growing up in a culture where almost all teenagers drink or experiment with alcohol, I had the hardest time in high school. Of course I wanted to drink. Everyone is curious about it. I didn’t want to be that one person who didn’t indulge. But at the same time, I couldn’t tell my parents about it like all my friends could. I would’ve never been able to leave the house again if I told them at the time. You need make sure your kid understands that he/she can tell you what happened. You need to make sure your kid can trust you. Now, I’m not saying don’t lay down the law and not make sure your kid knows the boundaries you set and the consequences he/she will face if he/she breaks them. I’m saying that at 16 years old, curiosity is going to eat you up until you get an answer. And once senior year of high school comes around the corner and then second semester, if your kid liked his/her first experience, then he/she will probably drink again. Just make sure you talk about it and express your concerns. Whatever you do, make sure either one of you doesn’t lose trust in the other. I think this is the greatest bond between a parent and child and once it is lost, its just a big downhill road until something monumental enough happens that the lost trust can be regained.Feel free to let me know how your kid reacts and if you have any other questions. As for me, I went down that downhill and only within the past few months have I re-established a very trustworthy relationship with my parents. *That downhill road is not worth going down, trust me.*

How to report a house party with underage drinking anonymously?

Give your local police department a call. When they ask for your name simple say I wish to remain anonymous. We get anonymous calls all the time. The officer generally asks dispatch if the complainant (person that called) wants to speak with an officer and dispatch will just tell them the caller wanted to remain anonymous. It's as easy as that.
