What Else Job Should I Do While I

What are the jobs that you could do while you are preparing for CAT? A job that is less hectic and less demanding in terms of giving time to the job.

A job, whilst preparing for CAT, is not a gap filling workaround. A job teaches you a lot of business aspects, provided you are keen to observe, ask and learn from it. It exposes to various functions of a business i.e. Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, etc. - which later on is going to be one of your specializations for MBA.I think you should take up a job(ideally) that is less hectic and with less work pressure. If you are interested in taking up a job that helps you prepare for CAT, throughout the entire year, you should get into academic content development. The role will completely keep you involved with academic content like Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. If you are interested in such a role, you can apply to the Careers Section of  PRAQTISE. Here, your preparation is completely on the lines of Computer Adaptive Testing(CAT) pedagogy. Remember, to crack the test, you need regular practise, strong strategy and belief in yourself.

How can I study While doing job?

The way you manage your job with study will vary from job to job, but i can suggest a crude way to do it.I am assuming you are passionate for something bigger and thus you are studying to achieve it, as without passion study with a job can be harder than it already is.Assuming you have a 9–6 job ,6 days a week. This leaves you with a sunday, few holidays and the time of the day which you spend at your home after job.So if you reach your home till 7 pm and do you regular activities like snacks, talking to friends, relatives etc for an hour. After which you have your dinner tilk around 9:30. I would take it that your other recreational activities are included in the above listed things. Now its 9:30 pm and you need to start your studies. No further delay. Study till 11:30 (without any disturbances like Facebook, whatsapp, etc). You are done for the day. Wrap up and have a good night sleep. Now wake up latest by 5:15 (5:15 am as we all take 15 mins to leave bed) . Do the daily activities in 30 mins and start with your studies i.e 6–8 am. Remember the study we do in the morning is the most effective one, so dont skip it. Then get ready and go for your work. That gave you 4 hours of study a day with ample of time to do your other daily work. Now for sunday and other holiday, take it as bonus. You have give atleast 10 hrs of that day to your studies. Same goes with the festivals and other holiday. It might seem bit hard to keep up with, but it will happen if you stick to it. You might also think that i happen to cut short the sleeping time. Yes i did. But that's a sacrifice we sometimes have to make to achieve bigger goals. Moreover 5–6 hours of sleep is good enough.

Should I quit my job as a exotic dancer?

Sadly, exotic dancers are often thought of as slutty people. The truth is usually that exotic dancers just need some money. I think if you like it, stick with it until you have enough money to do something else. For the guys, if they look at you, just roll your eyes and scrunch up your nose in disgust. Then again, the guys come in there to see women exotic dance, so you have to admit, it is hard to avoid.

I can’t find a job I’m happy with. Is it me?

Since I’ve graduated as a nurse. I’ve worked with substance abuse was at one job for one year and left and went to another substance abuse and while it’s easy. I’m tired of substance abuse and made a mistake taking another job in substance abuse. I’ve been here a month and don’t know what to do

Should I get a security guard job while waiting to become a police officer?

I graduated college a few years ago and tried out some office jobs in the past and found that I hate, HATE office work. I want to do something important with my life. Some of my childhood buddies are NYPD now and I've been talking to them. I think it might be the career for me....so I took the exam back in May 2010 (scored like a 98). I understand that it takes a very long time for them to put me on the list and call me up, so I'm exploring other options for now. Another friend suggested I try security work for now so I can put it on my resume and help me get into the academy. What do you folks think? Is it a good idea to become a security guard to tide me over until I can hopefully become a police officer? Will it look good on my resume? I don't really have too many expenses so the crappy pay would tide me over for a while.

My feet hurt so badly because of my new job....What should I do while at work?

what are those certain shoes, and if they were really okay then your feet wouldn't hurt after a few minutes at work.

however, don't get arch supports unless you are sure that is the cause. go see a podiatrist or go to a shoe store that specializes in helping people in pain.

THIS IS THE BEST ADVICE: when you stand all day your calf muscles become tensed, fatigued, and "short." your shortened calf muscles can actually pull on the feet and cause pain.

do the standard calf stretch. hands on the wall at arms length, bend one knee while stretching the other leg behind you as far as you can, leg straight and heel on the floor. don't overstretch, but if the calf feels really tight, hold a light stretch for 15 seconds, reverse legs and stretch the other for 15 seconds, and repeat 4 times, each time you should get a better stretch.

also, standing on a step on your toes with your heels hanging over, body straight, gently lower your heels til you get a nice pull, and hold as above.

you may need a special foot brace to wear at night to keep your toes from pointing and letting your calves shorten.

advil or ibuprofen will help with the pain. but it won't make the problem go away.

discover the real cause and solve your problem.

good luck.
