How do I get the confidence to dance at a party while everyone is looking at me?

You know what? That thing you feel. That thing called fear?. It never leaves. It's such a petty mindfuckI've talked to a lot of successful people who have done wonderful things and the eye opener everytime is that these remarkable people still feel fear. Like constantly! They think their business will crash down and the security man will come in at any time to announce what a big fraud they are. What sets them apart from the Losers out there is that they are comfortable with this feeling. They have emotional intelligence. They accept the feeling of fear and they take positive actions in spite of it.This fear you feel when you're about to dance is an evolutionary tool for your survival. Our ancestors are always thinking of how they measure up in other eyes. They are constantly beating themselves up so that they can become stronger and measure up.If you're weak you get cast out. And if you get cast out. You die! That's the kind of environment they lived in. Unfortunately for us, we inherited this feeling of negative thinking and comparison. The first step you're going to take is to accept this feeling you're having and just dance in spite of it. Be emotionally intelligent and be more aware of what you're feeling at the moment.Label it…Say I'm having this feeling of shame in front of these people. Then, accept it…But it's okay. It's just a normal feeling and this won't stop me from dancing and having fun.Proceed and step unto the dancefloor. The second step is to prepare before hand. In psychology is the phenomenon called the confidence-competence loop. This states that the more competent you get at performing an activity through constant practice, the more confident you become in your own Intrinsic ability to perform.Take time before hand to take dance lessons. Watch online videos and practice in silence. Your competence will rise and with it your self confidence to dance. Then you'll be able go out like a super hero and dazzle everyone with your quick feet.

Wedding reception ideas- No dancing or Alcohol?

you can still have the traditional stuff like tossing of the bouquet, feeding the cake to each other, best man/maid of honor toasts, but also incorporate some husband/wife "games." My best friend was married and had the cutest game. They had to sit with their backs to each other and take of their shoes. then the handed over one shoe to the other person so the bride had one of her shoes and one of his and vice versa. and then someone said ok now hold one shoe in each hand and they had a list of things on the paper and they said when i read something off, raise the shoe of the person you think that fits. So if the bride thought it fit her she would raise her shoe if the groom thought it fit her he would raise her shoe. (so you get the point) so someone would read, "who has control of the money inthe house?" and they raise the shoe of who they feel does. you can see how it is cute, innocent, and fun. I remember my friends husband rolling his eyes and tossing her shoe in the air to that question. More fun if you have someone else make up the questions. Other questions could be, "who's the more romanic one" "Whos the loud snorer" etc.

Guess Who?
This is another wedding game for the reception that aims to place the bride and groom in the spotlight using one very simple prop: a blindfold.

To test how well the groom knows his new bride, have him blindfolded and seated in a chair facing all the reception guests. Now comes the fun part. Round up as many guests as possible, from the young to the old, men and women.

The objective: can the groom figure out which one in the line up is his new bride? In the tame version, the groom can shake each guest's hand to find his new wife. Remember to play some fun and upbeat music during this game! You can blindfold the bride as well and have her turn

Other possibilities: Have each guest kiss the groom on the cheek; the groom must feel each person's leg (particularly fun if there are a lot of men in the lineup!).

Look up other wedding "games" I'm sure there are many more that may even involve the wedding party or guests. Good Luck!

Dancing Bear Male Dancers. Did you know they are not real?

Hmm, and to think that the Bang Bus was just really a couple of horny dudes picking a stranger girl off the street, having their way with her in their van on the open road and then dumping her at a gas station several times a week...

What a rip off.
