I was watching an episode of LockUp and a prisoner on it microwaved his cat!?
I cant stop thinking about it, I have been crying all morning. I have 2 cats of my own who I adore and every time I look at them I just imagine them exploding in the microwave. The prisoner laughed about it when he told the story and said coldly, "2 and a half minutes wasn't long enough". Do you think the cat died? How can I get these gruesome images out of my head? I have a British Shorthair and a Siamese cat and I keep thinking that this prisoner would probably love to microwave my cats because they'd probably be considered a delicacy or at least gourmet.
What is your favorite episode of Lockup?
I will admit to being a huge fan of Lockup. For years, I would stay at home Saturday nights and write — working on freelance assignments, not fun stuff — and binge-watch the show.I liked it because it made me feel less bad about staying home. At least I wasn’t in a correctional facility. And Lockup is the kind of show that you can pay selective attention to. A lot of the stories are the same, the backstories are similar, even the dialogue tends to repeat itself.That said, I can recall some of my favorite Lockup moments, though I’m not sure of the actual episodes.Any of the women’s prison episodes. Women prisoners tend to play a lot of mind games, and the sociological interplay is fascinating. I remember one show focusing on a pretty young alpha female, whom all the other girls were fighting to impress. I’d googled her afterward, of course, it turned out she got in trouble trying to manipulate a male prison guard.The guy whose cell extraction was featured in the opening sequence. Roy Slagle, I think, It took six or seven men to hold him down. He had a brother in the prison system as well. My favorite was the followup after he was released, and he was actually living a nice clean life. He liked to collect fine china, of all things.The episode that focused on talents and hobbies developed in prison. Some of these guys were amazing musicians. Another was making an intricate dollhouse, and I think a third dude created some incredible art.If anyone can edit my answer to reflect actual episodes, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for asking and that’s honestly kind of hard to answer.Season 1 episode 12 - One Eyed FishMost of the series has a creepy air to it but this is one of the stories that’s also tragic. In one episode you find out why Ginko is a Mushi-Shi and more importantly how it happened. At first it seems the white haired woman that finds Ginko is cold.But once you see the one-eyed fish the viewer realizes well she is mean but its out of concern. And as the episode plays out its literally stories of one tragedy after another. Until young Ginko has become the very thing Nui tried so hard to save him from.
