Why do liberals complain about jobs outsourcing, but do not want enforcement of immigration laws?
I specifically address this question to the liberals, because conservatives have nothing to expalin, they complain about both outsourcing an dillegal immigration. So let me be more specific. What is the difference to Amrican workers of these two situations: a) A US company outsources 1000 computer manufacturing jobs to Mexico b) A US company illegally hires 1000 illegal immigrants to assmble computers in Phoenix, AZ. Tell me what is the difference, how is B) better than A). The only difference I can see is extrra burden on AZ taxpayers to pay for health care, education, etc... in case B)
Can liberals and conservatives compromise with each other?
Liberals should compromise on their anti-markets, anti-business, anti-rich people beliefs, and then conservatives should compromise on their anti-gay, anti-choice beliefs. Liberals stay out of conservatives wallets. Conservatives stay out of liberal bedrooms. It's called compromise and it will make everyone more happy.
Do liberals fail to realize that the problem with trying to stop violence in America isn't really about guns in general but people who shouldn't have guns in the first place?
I fail to see how one differs from the other. “Liberals” are primarily interested in those guns not getting to those people in the first place. That’s why they advocate background checks to separate responsible gun-owners from mentally unbalanced or criminal persons.
What do liberals in the USA really want?
A very, very good question.One really worth pondering, especially, as I assume, when it comes from someone who isn’t from the liberal camp.Why do they care that much about global warming? And why do they bother themselves so much with the rights of people who aren’t white or christian? Why do they support such crooks as Hillary and her gang of thieves?As a republican or conservative, what do you think the answer is? Would it make sense that liberals want to, say, destroy their own country? Nah, not very logical , right?Are they all morons who are just too stupid to realize they are ruining their country? This sure sounds pleasing to some, but again, if you deeply ponder that option, you will find it quite impossible. It would mean that half the nation are, and have been for quite a while, morons. Scary, isn’t it? Because if so many people in your country (hundreds of millions of them) can be morons without knowing it, or even doubting it, how can you be so sure you are not suffering from the same syndrome?My own guess is that they do have an opinion worth listening to, exactly as the republicans’ opinion is equally worthy of listening to as well. And if both camps manage to sit together, listen to each other without bias, they would discover they were both being equally fooled on regular basis, on every election, at least for the past 50 years.The American president never makes the American policies. He has no say whatsoever in them because he is just a public relations officer, chosen to play a public relations role prepared for him by those who do have the power and who do set the policies. His main task is, and has always been, and will always be(unless you stop it) to tempt those he would screw the most, so as to ensure that he will be elected by them, and that the decisions he will announce, which will ruin their lives, will passed with their support in a seemingly democratic fashion. He is just a face designed to be loved and trusted by precisely the same section of the population whom he would serve poison.For instance, if you want a president to make economic reforms whose costs will not be paid by the country’s elite, but will be fully paid by the white American middle class, you create a hero for the white American middle class and make him pass those reforms as his, so that those whom he will screw would be his staunchest supporters.And that is the brilliance of the American Totalitarian Syste…oops, I mean the American Democracy.
Why are some liberals so condescending toward Trump supporters? Do they really feel they are superior?
They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic.It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people.So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative.It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”
