In a generation where we equate material possessions with happiness, why is it that most of us are still miserable with how our lives are turning out?Life is fleeting. Most people think that we are given the chance to live in order to accumulate wealth so that when we are old, we are comfortable and secured. But as told by those who are on their deathbeds, material things are the least you remember when you are dying.Friendship, family, love, and relationships. These things are the ones you will look back to when you are on the brink of death. You will think about the memories (or the lack thereof) you created together with your loved ones. Now I'm still in middle school, so this isn't gonna be something like “becoming the CEO of some store.” But it's gonna be something that is the start of my career (hopefully)I might have mentioned it in other answers, but my goal is to be a lawyer or judge. I set that goat 4 years ago, in elementary, and have just gained higher hopes sinceWhat has this to do with my achievement? I won a huge debate competition, despite some disadvantagesThe achievement I've been proudest of is being the overall winner in my LD (Lincoln Douglass, a style of debate) competition. There were over 50 kids there, I went through 7 rounds, argued both sides of the debate. And I wonThe craziest thing is, I went against some kids who were in higher grades (more debate classes) and won. I went against kids who were in debate, and still wonWell you see, that's important because while those kids have 45 mins a day/5 times a week of debate classes. I have one hour a week of debate club. They spend way more time on it, and yet I won.I have to give shout-out to my debate coach who helped us succeed. Our school is the only one who doesn't have a class in debate, and yet we had the highest amount of kids advancing. (I won't the finals, one kid made it to semifinals, and 2 kids got to quarter finals) we probably would have done even better if we would not have been paired against EACH OTHERNot trying to gloat, but I think I have a talent for debate. I just hope it will bring me somewhere good in life.

Life is best lived when it is lived for others. A certain inquisitive passerby blessed with a boon wished to see heaven and hell. First he was taken to hell. There there were many shabbily clothed, bearded people sitting sickly in front of their dining tables which had the best dishes and drinks of the world but they could neither eat nor drink. They could not even shave or change their dresses. All because their hands were tied flat at their elbows with an iron road and they could not bend their hands. They were all weeping and wailing. Having understood the situation the visitor wanted to see the heaven. He was escorted to heaven and to his utter shock the situation was exactly the same there also. There were excellent clothes excellent food , drinks etc and their elbows were also tied flat. But here everybody was well dressed, clean shaven, and enjoying their food and drink. The visitor after the initial shock noted what the difference was due to. Here in heaven though their hands were tied straight, they could help one another in eating, drinking, shaving and changing dresses. That is the reason they were well clothed , clean shaven, enjoying their food and drinks and hence happy. Th visitor after noting the difference between heaven and hell went home satisfied with renewed spirits.

A Psychiatrist needs to attend Medical school, complete that and then specialise in mental health and welfare. Dr Phil never went to Medical school BUT he did complete a degree in Psychology. He's a Psychologist. A Psychologist is not technically a Doctor but they still do help people with their problems. Dr Phil can't prescribe medications like a Psychiatrist does. I think he 'became' Dr Phil because it sounded more powerful and influentual.
