I am sorry your family has not been supportive. That is really sad. Yes, bipolar can be sometimes be mostly depressive. You may not even notice the mild highs. There are several ways to experience bipolar. You can be mostly manic, mostly depressive or rapidly cycling between those two poles. You can also be manic and depressive at the same time. Some people feel that anti-depressants can trigger a manic episode if you are bipolar but you didn't have that. I would think that MIGHT be a strike against you being bipolar. I don't think you have these problems, but has anyone ever tested your thyroid? Have you been tested for food allergies? How about your B vitamins? All of these can affect depression. I have known people who hallucinate when given certain foods. It's something to look into anyway. It's good the dogmatil doesn't make you feel too bad. My sis was on Risperidal and hated it. They finally took her off and she is so much better. Maybe the voices you heard were triggered by mania and not schizophrenia? Is it possible you could stay off lithium and just do the dogmatil if the voices are pretty diminished? Hope something here helped...good luck

Mononucleosis is caused by the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) or cytomegalovirus (CMV). Usually the cause is EBV. You can get EBV or CMV without getting mononucleosis, but you aren't one of the lucky ones. Your liver and spleen help filter your blood and maintain healthy blood cells, including lymph cells. These conditions are only temporary, but you should avoid contact sports, vigorous exercise, or bumping into things to avoid causing injury to these organs, since this can cause bleeding and even rupture. Normal activities (showering, sitting, walking) shouldn't put you in any danger. Since EBV and CMV are viruses, antibiotics won't help. Sometimes (as you've found out) you can get opportunistic or "secondary" bacterial infections when you get mono, and antibiotics can help those. I'm assuming you're under the close care of a physician for this. Treating mono consists of nutrition, hydration, and rest. You should ask your physician if there are medications you can take to help the headaches and the pharyngitis (inflamed tonsils). Don't take anti-inflammatories (aspirin, Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, Aleve) unless your physician says it's okay. Although you've given us a very good list of your signs/symptoms, there may be other problems that contradict medications like those, and only your doctor will know this. Most mono resolves (gets better) within a few weeks, but it your symptoms can linger for up to three months. Even when you're better, you can shed the virus in your saliva for up to years, which means you're contagious to others. However, you shouldn't worry about this--about 90% of people get EBV/CMV by the time they're adults, and most of them don't even know about it. It's important that you eat and drink properly, especially fruits, vegetables, and protein. If your pharyngitis is preventing this, see your physician.
I can't pee. What exactly could be wrong with me?
I'm an 18 year-old male who's overall healthy, but Monday morning I woke up and went to urinate, and couldn't. Just nothing. Not a drop. I waited and waited, but my bladder kept filling and I couldn't do anything, so I went to the ER and they put a foley catheter in me (EXTREMELY painful). They said to keep the catheter in for 2 days, and said I had a mild UTI. They put me on antibiotics which I've been taking since then. I got the catheter out yesterday, but ever since my urinary stream has been very weak even though it feels as if my bladder is full. Earlier today I got to where I couldn't pee at all again, and felt like my bladder was filling. I once again went to the ER, but somehow managed to urinate when I got there. They said it might be bladder spasms because of the catheter causing me to feel like my bladder is full but I don't know. I'm so afraid of drinking fluids now because I don't want my bladder to fill and not be able to pee...I do NOT want another catheter. I have an appointment with the urologist next week. But is this normal for a UTI? Could this just be bladder spasms? I'm really scared to tell you the truth.

What is the energy released per mole of water formed(take c=4.2kJ/kg/K) So the equation is HCl+NaOH→H2O+NaCl, balanced. It tells me that 1mol of HCl will produce 1mol of H2O, and since HCl is 1M, 25cm^3=0.025dm^3 so there is 0.025mol of HCl in this reaction. So 0.025mol of H2O will be produced, which released 6.5 degrees celcius equivalent of energy. H2O has a molecular mass of 18g/mol so 0.025x18=0.45g, is the mass of H2O produced. In kg, 0.00045kg. By Q=mcΔT, 0.00045x4.2x6.5=0.012285kJ. Thus the energy produced in the reaction is 0.012285kJ; which is 0.025mol of H2O. 1/0.025=40, so for 1mol of H2O, 40x0.012285=0.4914kJ of energy will be released. ....which turned out to be wrong. I cannot spot my error, I think my logic makes sense....and no miscalculations.... Can any one tell me what and why it is wrong? Thanks..
What EXACTLY is wrong with INCEST?
Its these sorts of rediculous so called philosophical questions that gives philosophy a bad name. Do a bit of basic reasearch on incest and its almost always done as a form of abuse which leads to great emotional scarring and suffering. It usualy involves older brothers abusing younger siblings or fathers abusing daughters etc. Ten minutes of reading about incest and its terrible concequences for the victim would make you realise how NAIVE your question is. Even in situations where its so called consenual ie brother and sister fall in love and get married etc = exceptionally rare ie .05 % of incest cases they think that this is due to the sexual abuse having become a learned behavour and through brainwashing. Ie it started out as abuse but they were socialised into beliving it was natural and healthy. This question is ultimately as sensible as asking whats wrong with eating crap (if you enjoy the taste) or whats wrong with rooting your dog (if it truly enjoys it) etc etc sometimes the answer its weird sick distgusting and unatural etc is sufficient. But hey its not immoral so go right ahead eat that bowl of crap, root that dog, and marry your sister as its not unethical (= sarcasm). So it's unnatural as we have been evolutionary hard wired to not be attracted to our immediate family (indeed the normal reaction is one of repultion to such relations) as evolution wants genetic diversity. Children end up deformed and the function of sex is to produce offspring. Proper birth control is a very recent phenomenon. Anyway usualy ... then ... incest is unethical and immoral as in the real world (vs planet i come from mars) it by its very definition necessitates abuse in 99%of cases ie older bother ABUSING younger sister leading to a life of emotional pain and scarring (do research on effects of incest = eye opener for you apparently). In that super rare instance where just maybe its consensual well its not necissarily unethical or immoral i agree but its still unatural arguably a little bit sad and yes pretty sick. Final point you ask for a legitimate reason why you just don't do it. Actually the proper framing of your question should be the other way around. Give me a LEGITIMATE reason why you would do it. Most of us have no urge to ... so why would you???

It's not tweaking thats bad,its everything else that comes with it.This is how wikipedia defines itTwerking is a type of dancing in which an individual, usually a female, dances to music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low squatting stance .And its not half as easy as it looks. It requires a good amount of leg and hip strength.What makes it provocative is the body part that is working and the locales its performed in. This usually includes scantily clad women dancing in strip clubs and soca jams. Now, in all of these places, grace is not usually the criteria to qualify to be good. People who watch the dances here come here to be sexually aroused and sensual dances. Because supply and demand, female dancers comply with the needs and make it sexual too. But just look at it with an open mind, what is wrong with the dance form, if clothing and nature of the dance are well taken care of, I think its just like any other dance form. I've seen people who have twerked respectfully and it looks cool. I've seen people speak ill of belly dancing since it also involves provocative clothing. But that is deranged and derogatory as well. To conclude, I don't think theres anything wrong with tweaking itself,but the baggage that comes with it.Would I twerk in a party then?NO. Mostly because I can't .

Even though your intentions were genuine, your friend has good reason to be cross with you. As far as she is concerned you broke her trust. You should apologise and I believe you if you said you have.Now, you haven't mentioned what happened after. Is she not talking to you? how long has she not been talking to you? If she is not talking, write a mail to her apologising sincerely and tell her how important her friendship is to you. She probably was upset about something and may have took it out on you. She might probably forget about all this in sometime. But in spite of you apologising, she decides to be the way she is now, then give her some space. She might come back.Cheers!

Firstly lets appreciate the power of a democarcy....Can a sound and stable economy alone be decisive in ones fame as a successful politician among the population.Unfortunately the answer has to be "No".Egypt has a great deal of strategic importance among the region.Its partnership with the US in maintaining a stable and neutral stance with Israel has meant financial aid each year to the tune of 1.2 Billion for Egypt.Its long term ally with the US also meant a greater trade coperation among the world.Lets look at the Egyptian economy from the period 2005 through 2010.Thegrowth percentage has had a great impetus on the economy.With 40 billion in investments and a stagerring 34,500 business opening its door has meant that the country was growing financially.One of the blessing for Egypt has been the Suez canal which cuts the distance to reach the US by close to 10000 kms. So its not the economy that has fueled this protest.Two of the factors that would have led to the upsurge could be : 1. An absence of a democratically elected government.The mubarak regime was known for rigging the elections.So that means an absence of the peoples mandate. 2.The absence of a democratically elected government encompassed with a dictatorial regime for 30 years and seeing the growth of the country in terms of economy meant some sleepless nights for some of its neighbouring countries who could have wanted to see the downfall of any regime which was supported by the US.Now I am sure you would be able to guess which is that country who wanted to see the downfall. So does the protest mean the majority voice of the people of Egypt.Well....No.Its not even a fraction of the population. Let me just sum it up...Firstly A single matchstick is enough to burn a ton of paper.The paper is volatile and so are the people of Egpyt.Its just needs one ideological mind to start a revolution. Secondly if a swami who has been involved in a sex scandal can have even more ardent followers with its absurd ideologies, why cant Egpyt who is susceptible to an ideological mind out there.
