So i want to send myself a fake text message, but the apps are bad, i want it to be directly send to my messages is it possible? is there a way? I live in Canada btw:) Thanks so much for all answers

If it is in fact one person, calling and texting you from one phone with multiple numbers, he is using an app that allows him to SPOOF number, either made up or real, so that is you do go to the police, they can't do much with the fake numbers, unless they get a court order to put a trace on your line through the phone company, you would have to create a log of EACH and EVERY time you were called and texted from this person, then they would with the help of your phone company track down the actual phone or phones being used to send the text and calls. You of course would never get this information, unless it went to court. BUT what you can do is this. Download an app that allows you to block ALL calls and text, that are NOT in your phone's address book. So all UNKNOWN, PRIVATE, BLOCKED, RANDOM calls or text will be ignored by your phone. Some apps will shunt all blocked calls to voice mail, others will do a pickup and hang up type action, not allowing them to go to voice mail. You could change your number, then once you have done that, get a Google Voice number, and ONLY give the Google Voice number out to anyone who is NOT a relative or close trusted friend. And when people call, they have no idea they are not calling your cell phone number, they can still text you, and you can setup different voice mail messages for different people, one for friends, family, work, and random callers. This gives you the freedom to screen calls before you answer them, just like you would have with and answering machine. And you still see Caller ID on your cell, as if they were calling you, and when you return calls from the cell phone or any other phone for that matter through GV, it will show the GV number, unless you want it to show your cell number.

It's mega super important so please I'm up for anything you got! When i call the number, it just says "You have called a number that does not a have a voice mail box set up yet. Goodbye." If that means anything. . .
Can a text message sent from a fake number be traced?
the number i used was from the textfree unlimited app on an iphone , in other words the text was sent using wi-fi and not an actual phone carrier & even though it was sent using the app , the reciever still obtained a full 10-digit number which appears on the recipients phone [my actual area code is 310 & the number's area code i used for the fake number was 413] how about the actual exact location of the phone . . . as in specific coordinates & what not
