What Flag Do You Think Its The Most Beautiful Uk Or England

Which is correct, "English flag", "England Flag" or "Flag of England"?

This is either the flag of England, or the English Flag. “England Flag” is not grammatically correct. It is also known as St. George’s Cross, or the Cross of St. George. This is the flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, also known as the Union Flag and the Union Jack. (It is somewhat common to claim that it is only properly known as the Union Jack when flown on the jack staff of a vessel at sea. According to the UK’s Flag Institute, that is not the case, and either term is correct.)The current Union Flag is the result of two unions. First, in 1707, Scotland and England (who had shared a monarch for over 100 years) merged their parliaments and became Great Britain. Using a design proposed 100 years earlier, they combined the flag of England (above) with the flag of Scotland (St. Andrew’s Cross, or Saltire — interestingly, it is rare to hear it described as the Cross of St. Andrew):They darkened the blue at the request of the navy (supposedly the azure of the Scottish Saltire washed out at sea), and produced the original Union Flag:In 1801, when the United Kingdom and Ireland united their parliaments, they added St. Patrick’s Cross (also St. Patrick’s Saltire or St. Patrick’s flag) to represent Ireland:St. Patrick’s cross is thought to have been invented for an Irish order of chivalry in the late eighteenth century and based on the arms of the Fitzwiliams. It is probably most commonly seen as incorporated into the current Union Flag. What about Wales? Well, Wales had been progressively incorporated into England after conquest by Edward I, and fully by 1550, so despite continuing an independent linguistic and cultural identity, by the time they started changing flags to represent all the nations under them, Wales had been under the English flag over 150 years.

Why is England’s flag combined?

The English Flag is the Flag of St George not the Union Jack or as I as an Englishman see it as The Double Cross. The City which still claims to be our English Capital City composed of it’s royal family it’s Westminster Parliament and The City of London itself have turned rogue upon us.This group of Quislings deny The English People, the English Nation and our Country England itself the right to exist as a modern Nation State. Consequently we English outside London are rendered invisible and powerless to change our situation because not one Country will support us by challenging London’s completely illegal denial of our liberties.

Which country has the most beautiful flag?

I'm not so much interested in your personal opinion (though, that's okay, too), but the "Best Answer" will be given to someone who can find an international committee or panel that actually looked at all the flags and made a professional judgment as to which one was the "best" or most "beautiful". Has such a panel ever been summoned, maybe by the United Nations?

What is the most beautiful flag in the world?

Probably Indian Flag would be the most beautiful flag in the world. Being embedded marvelous meanings in it, it turned as the most beautiful flag in the world.Colours of the FlagIn the national flag of India the top band is of Saffron colour, indicating the strength and courage of the country. It is no doubt a kind of idolatry which would be a sin to destroy. For, a flag represents an Ideal The unfurling of the Union Jack evokes in the English breast sentiments whose strength it is difficult to measure. The Stars and Stripes mean a world to the Americans. The Star and the Crescent will call forth the best bravery in Islam.""It will be necessary for us Indians Muslims, Christians Jews, Parsis, and all others to whom India is their home-to recognize a common flag to live and to die for."- Mahatma GandhiJAI HIND !!

Why are other countries so beautiful compared to the USA?

Im am saying this from my observation as well as opinions from many people. I have looked in in several textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, the internet, Google street view and many others. I have noticed a remarkable difference in beauty between the USA and other countries. Whenever i compare the UK with the USA the UK is just so much more physically beautiful with its rural areas and its quaint villages with cute buildings and rolling countryside in the background. Have you ever seen or been to the West country. Hampshire, Shropshire, Yorkshire Wales and Scotland? The roads are also much cleaner and smoother in the UK. Not to forget the rest of Europe like France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Norway and many others with their charming architecture and ability to keep their wonderful rural areas and neat roads as well. The countries in South America, Mexico, Asia and Africa are also extremely pretty with their large unspoilt natural areas with the variety of wonderful architecture against it. Even modern new countries like Canada (which is much closer to the USA) and Australia manage to keep their country so clean, their coastlines so fresh, their lakes so clean and have millions of acres of pure unspoilt nature. Somehow their buildings work against the background of their scenery. Have you seen a small town in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia in Canada by the ocean? So much better looking than Maine in the US.
The USA on the other hand despite its large size and variety of climates and landscapes looks trampled over. The roads just look wide and cracked with all the massive fuel guzzling ugly cars, the architecture is brash, modern, bland and is the same from coast to coast. The sky always looks hazy from all the pollution. The coastlines look filthy and the waterways are contaminated. The lands is also dusty and barren. The USA also just doesnt give a damn about the environment nor conservation methods.

What do people think about non-British people wearing t-shirts with British flag designs?

This hits to a rather odd facet of our culture.  If they're not British, I honestly don't think about it at all.  I don't wonder, or care if they've even been to the UK.  It's just a simple but striking design.  If, however, they were British, then I do start thinking.  If it's trying to look trendy, grungy, etc, as part of a wider design, fine.  The more nationalistic it starts to look, the less acceptable I (personally) see it.This hits on two interesting comparisons with the US.  One is the flag itself.  We simply don't put a high value on it as a symbol.  The 'founding fathers', in their wisdom realised that people make bad icons because they'll all fail sooner or later.  So you swear allegiance to the flag, etc, rather than a person.  I can see the logic - the flag can do no wrong, so weathers out every scandal squeaky clean.  But we simply don't have this - our monarch fits this role.So while in the US it'd be considered bad form to soil the flag, burn the flag, let it touch the ground, etc .. well I guess we consider it impolite to burn the Queen instead.  Under no circumstances should she be allowed to fall into a puddle, muddied, etc.The other comparison is our very different takes on nationalism.  I honestly can't identify why, but we lean towards outward displays of nationalism as being somewhat unhealthy.  Perhaps related to the goals of groups that do decide to co-opt it as their banner.  But this does form another reason that we don't revere the flag in quite the same way - it just wouldn't be British.
