What Foods Does America Have The Australia Doesnt

What does Australia have that America doesn't and vice versa?

Some things I reckon: I can buy an all-beef hot dog at the movie theaters in America, and kill two birds with one stone, but in Australia, I gotta eat something before watching the movies, or after--or sneak in a sausage or something.I can go to a nice restaurant in Australia and get Kangaroo, but in America, I'm usually stuck with boring animals. Australia has more nice people.  I can fall down on the sidewalk, and someone will stop their car and ask if I am okay.  But in America, they are more likely to stop to take my wallet while I'm down. Australia has huge flying dogs with wings that make a cool sound like umbrellas opening and closing, that can help lull you to sleep.  America just has walking dogs that bark and wake you up an hour before you want to wake up.  In Australia, there are WAY more different kinds of creatures that can hurt or kill you.  In America, there are less such creatures, but then we have more of the ones that walk among us, and look like us, and are intelligent. In Australia, in an urban neighborhood, I could walk from my house to the mall, hospital, dentist, park, schools, grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, play land, work, public pool,  basketball court, tennis court, piano class, dance hall, etc.--all in about an hour (just getting there time.)  Here in America, in an urban neighborhood, I have to drive everywhere, and to get to the same places, I would have to drive for say an average of 20 minutes just to get from one of these places to another (driving time.) I can easily get bangers and mash in Australia, but in America I can get about any other food (except Kangaroo) that I can think of. Australia has flies that don't know when to quit bugging you.  In America, the flies give you a little respect.Australia seems to have public places that are quite dangerous.  In America, these same places would have been sued into safety compliance by now.

What animals does North America have that Australia doesn't?

I'm trying to find something to send to a friend of mine in Australia that is unique to North America where I live... Oregon specifically. She sent me something with a kangaroo on it, which is awesome. I was thinking a stuffed squirrel because I know they don't have squirrels...but what about a beaver? Oregon is the Beaver State after all, but I'm not sure if they have them or not..? Any suggestions?

What candy does Canada have that Australia doesn't?

Send something from Laura Secord or a bag of the Mixed Christmas candy, After 8 mint thins, some of our chocolate bars to. As a chef I worked around the world with a hotel chain based here in Canada, we got loads of things shipped to us from the head office in Canada via the airline we were affiliated with, I use to take root beer to the UK until the stopped allowing certain liquids on planes, plus I have not gone in 10 yrs.

Why doesn't Australia (like America) build cities inland (the outback)?

In Australia, all the cities and towns are usually by the coast. And in the middle, there's the huge outback, which doesn't have so many cities or towns. Why not? I mean, Australia has a lot of rivers flowing inland: http://www.anra.gov.au/topics/water/maps/national/state.gif

Even more than America: http://www.ac-nancy-metz.fr/enseign/anglais/Henry/usriver-map.gif

I can understand that it's desert, but so was the American West before all those cities and towns! Now it's hot real-estate!

Even some Middle Eastern areas are becoming more industrial, and they're in the hot desert too...

Or, it's just that we don't have enough population to move inland yet?

Why doesn’t Australia have Taco Bell?

Why doesn’t Australia have Taco Bell?I can remember eating at a Taco Bell in Sydney years ago. Taco Bell even has an Australian web site: Home | TACO BELLThat said, I didn’t find their taste very good. The cheese was very artificial. US companies need to realise that Australia has very good standards of food, and we like healthy and natural food more than Americans do. Machine processed “plastic” food won’t win hearts here.I have had plenty of better nachos from other shops than from Taco Bell. It reminds me of StarBucks — they didn’t do well in Australia because we are used to good coffee.

Why do all the Australian fish in Finding Nemo have American accents?

WOW!
Interesting question! I never thought of that!
I love Dory! I love Ellen Degeneres!

What American candy should I bring for New Zealand and Australia host families?

skittles, laffy taffy, bubble gum, sour patch kids, bit o' honey, baby bottle pops, push pops, and twizzlers!!

And by the way, tootsie rolls and other chocolates can melt unless you don't freeze them, but they probably have to be ice cold because that flight is gonna be long. you should try and ask a flight attendant can you store the chocolate candy in their fridge. im sure they wont mind.

if this didn't help, try this website; it has every type of candy and can probably help you way more than i can...

Have a great trip, and hopefully the candies you choose aren't something they have already; candy does sell worldwide.
