Odd question about windows 10 Pro?
In the near future will be getting windows 10 pro,. Was wondering something about the local offline accounts, since don t need anything on live., Will I still be able to connect to the internet without if I am not logged into a livce account? Will I still be able to do online gaming through my other clients like steam, origins and so on? Also heard edge ain't that great of a browser, so first think will be grabbing firefox for web browsing. Just curious oif there is any restrictions on my computer iof the admin is set to local account and never touches the live stuff? Sorry for typos and errors, my old computer is on its last legs and can t drag my feet on getting windows 10 anymore So a little stressed! Does it make sense for "the IT person" to not have administrative rights on Windows?
It’s not easy for them to do their job if they don’t (and if not the IT person , then who? are you OK for that person to be regularly called upon to come and type in an admin password on a PC or server?)I have worked with environments where the data in a database or document management system was encrypted to exclude the IT department from sensitive data, but that really only stops casual access because if everyone forgets their passwords, its going to be the IT guy who will be rescuing you.
