A lot of music from Two Steps from Hell! They produce a lot of what I consider “Epic” instrumental musics.Have an animation or fan video that needs a cool background music? It is the month of Starcraft's 20th anniversary, what are some of your favorite scenes from all the games?
While every cutscene in the original StarCraft is iconic, 2 of them stand above all others in my mind as the golden standard:The Inauguration: With a brilliant voice over performance by James Harper, this is classic Blizzard at its absolute best. I especially love seeing the jingoistic speech being broadcast throughout the territory of the Terran Dominion, but also being received by the Protoss and Zerg. The message is clear: “The enemy is listening and their response is coming.” What a way to wrap up the first chapter and launch us into the Zerg campaign!Tassadar’s Sacrifice: This one always hits me right in the feels. Something about the mounting music combined with the high stakes of the endgame, this is the final, desperate attack of our heroes and is just brilliantly executed. This is the pinnacle of StarCraft lore, the desperate alliance of Humans and Protoss against the all consuming terror of the Zerg. This was, in fact, such a strong ending, that Blizzard copied itself when making WarCraft 3 and gave us the exact same final confrontation (not to mention the Arthas/Kerrigan arc for both vanilla and expansion and the exact same ending for both of the characters in those). I will never forgive Blizzard for undercutting this incredible ending by retconing the Overmind into some “noble creature” to support the inane story of StarCraft 2.
Are there any harmonica tabs for Starcraft 2?
There is no harmonica in the song. The closest thing to sounding like a harmonica was the violin. --------------------------------------... Starcraft II: orbital depots or micro filtering?
The Terran aren't very gas heavy, and given the campaign AI's habit of turtling up in a lot of missions, I tend to feel instant depos are more useful, because it lets me not wait for building troops. If you need more gas, you can always take an expo in most maps. Orbital depos means you never have to wait for supply, which is great.
James Cameron's Avatar vs Starcraft?
I was thinking the exact same thing. Except the part of the Na'vi being Zerg. i thought the Na'vi were more like protoss, in that they care about the enviorment and they have an ENERGY that connects them all. oh, you are also missing the firebats that appeared towards the end of the movie. The entire time i was watcing the movie i was picking out SC similarities, like the zergling rushes and unltralisk rush, the front line attacks with the marines, goliaths, and firebats. I thought the movie was good in comparison, except for the part where they had "horses." when i saw that i was thinking 'wtf did they do that for?!?' i wish they would have picked something less Earthly to use instead of horses, that just kind of ruined the exoticness of the world of Pandora.
