My vote goes to traditional folk music. That’s our real “native language” in music, not the classical, not the jazz, pop, rock, disco, rap or whatever most people listen to. Including me, most of the time… I already posted traditional Transylvanian (Hungarian, Romani, Saxon, Swabian, Ukrainian) folk songs, as well as “classical” pieces inspired by Romanian folk songs in my answer to Which are some classic songs of your country?; and in some other answers too… Now let’s look a little further.
