What Happen To My Computor It All Changed And I Didn

What would happen if you didn't change a bad mass airflow sensor on your vehicle?

If it is faulty and you do not replace it, the computer will keep sending you a malfunction code and light the “Check Engine” light. At the same time, the computer will default to its preprogramed air/fuel mixture tables to manage fuel flow to the engine. In the end, you will lose engine performance and fuel mileage will suffer significantly because it will it allow more fuel to the engine for a given engine RPM.The reason is that the computer programming is pretty conservative in order to prevent any engine damage that would be caused by an excessively lean fuel condition. Some newer vehicles will most likely revert to limp mode.

I have 2 computers. If I change the desktop background on one, a few days later the other computer changes too (to the same background) without my intervention. Why is this happening?

Are you running Windows 10 on both computers? Have you associated your Hotmail Email account on both computers? If so what you are seeing is normal. It happens to me as well.Microsoft is syncing the background wallpaper of both your computers in the (mistaken or not) belief that you’d like a relatively seamless Microsoft 10 Windows user experience on both devices. While it can’t control what is installed on each device (say one is for serious art production work and the other for games and media consumption only) it can certainly control and sync your wallpapers.Sometimes it’s nice, other times annoying. I have to remember to not put pictures of my little kids having a *funny but messy* mealtime on my desktop lest it be shared with the other device and a different circle of peers.

I accidentally changed all my files to open to Wordpad?

I was trying to install brushes for paint tool sai sai and tried to open one with wordpad to change it to an .exe file but then all my files changed to lnk files.

I tried restoring my computer to a different time period but it said it didn't work because I'm running an anti-virus program and i need to temporarily disable it. The thing is, i can't find that program..

I also tried doing this:

but it didn't work :/

any ideas of how to change it back?

Can changing the OS frequently damage the computer?

It’s harmless, since you’re not changing the actual hardware. You could change the OS by turning the computer off, swapping the hard disk to one with another OS installed, and turning it on again. Clearly, the CPU, RAM, graphics card, motherboard, monitor and everything else didn’t change at all, and yet they are now running something else. The reason this works is that most components are completely blank when you turn on the computer, waiting for something to start configuring them and putting them to use. This happens every boot, so it doesn’t matter if it’s the same OS each time or not.The one part that does change is the disk - but an operating system is just data, and writing data to a disk is kind of what it’s built to do. It doesn’t wear it any more than writing anything else would have done (and given the lifespan of a modern HD or SSD this isn’t anything to worry about).

"Your system's memory configuration has changed since it entered hibernation."?

I tried to wake up my computer from hybernate and got an error message saying "Your system's memory configuration has changed since it entered hibernation. If you proceed, the data needed to resume from hibernation will be lost. To preserve this data, turn off the system power, restore the original memory configuration, and then reboot the system. Otherwise, preess to delete restoration data and proceed to boot menu."

This doesn't make any sense. I haven't done ANYTHING to my computer since I put it in hybernation. I don't want it to delete my data. What do I do?

I changed my spark plugs and the #1 cylinder ignition coil according to the computer but my truck still shakes. What should I do?

I’m quite sure your computer didn’t tell you to “Change the #1 plug and coil”. It likely said something like “P0301: Cylinder #1 Misfire”.First off, I would suggest a cylinder drop test to verify that the problem cylinder is ACTUALLY #1. The onboard diagnostics have been known to sometimes misreport the cylinder number, leading to confusion. With the engine idling, unplug the coils one at a time to see which one DOESNT make the engine run worse. That is the cylinder that isn’t working.A cylinder-specific misfire can be caused by many things besides a bad coil or spark plug. You might have a clogged or otherwise defective fuel injector, a vacuum leak at the intake manifold port, a defective PCM failing to fire the injector or the coil for that cylinder, or a cracked valve seat, bent valve, or other internal problem causing low compression in that cylinder.Just shooting the parts cannon at a problem is a good way to waste money, but if you want to actually fix the problem, nothing beats actual diagnostics.

What could happen if I don't fix the Oxygen Sensor for my car??

The Oxygen Sensor is a gadget that constantly measures the oxygen level in the exaust gases as a way to determine how rich or lean the air/fuel mixture is. The sensor's data is sent to the onboard computer which then makes a calculation and adjusts the mixture accordingly if nessesary. Clearly then, if the oxygen
sensor is faulty, it will send bad data (or none at all) to the
on-board computer. This will adversely affect the resulting
air/fuel mixture. For example, the air/fuel mixture could end
up being too rich (too much gas, not enough air), therefore
causing poor gas mileage. So if you don't fix the problem, your car will run, but could have poor fuel mileage. With today's fuel prices, it could save you money in the long run.

But I got to add this..... there are some really odd answers to your question that tells me some people should not answer a question they don't know the answer to. I would never take my car to a shop that welds the pipe shut!
A potenial life or death situation???? Only for your wallet!!

Why did my IP address suddenly change?

There are two ways that computers can be set up to determine the ip address they should use.

(1) A static ip address is configured in the settings for the computer

(2) They request an ip address from a DHCP server.

Most systems use DHCP.

The DHCP server can assign an available ip address from its pool to the machine requesting one. This is standard.

Good DHCP servers allow you to specify which ip addresses should be assigned to which computers based on their network interface's MAC (Media Access Control) address.

Assuming you are talking about computers on your local network (rather then the address of your router on the Internet), then:

(1) Rebooting the router would have reset the DHCP server

and

(2) Check the router's configuration to see if you can set up ip addresses based on MAC address.

(a) If you can - do that

(b) If you can't - change the range of ip addresses the router gives out for DHCP, and then configure static ip addresses on the machines you care about having unchanging ips. How you do that depends on the operating system those computers use.

If, on the other hand, you are talking about the public ip address of the router on the Internet then you have two options.

(1) Talk to your service provider about getting a static ip address. Some will give you one, others will give you one for a fee, others won't offer the service. You might want to change service provider.

(2) Accept that you have a non-static ip address and use a service such as http://no-ip.org/ to get a host name that gets updated to reference whatever address you have (note that there will be some lag between the ip changing and the hostname updating )

How to change YT language?

A couple days ago, my friend from Japan wanted to show me a video on my computer, so she changed the language of Youtube to Japanese. I didn't see how she did it, but after a few days, it's starting to bug me. I don't know how to change it all back since it's in another language. Could somebody help me on how to change it back to English? Thank you ^^

Note: my friend doesn't speak a lot of English, and the next time I see her will be in 4-5 days :/
