In April, Miley appeared inside Vanity Fair magazine with her back exposed while wrapped in a bedsheet. By fall of 2009, Miley was back in the media, causing yet another uproar after her performance of “Party in the U.S.A.” at the Teen Choice Awards. The then 16-year-old danced around the stage in hot pants and leather boots and even spun around around a stripper-like pole on the top of an ice cream cart. In May 2010, TMZ posted a video of Miley Cyrus,16 at the time, dancing with the producer of The Last Song.The two are shown grinding and at one point, Miley looks like she’s giving Adam a lap dance. TMZ released yet another private video of Miley. This time, the video shows Miley celebrating her 18th birthday by smoking from a bong. Then she did a photoshoot for Marie Claire showing off the side of her boob, she was 18 at the time. She's also done music videos such as "Who owns my heart" where she is wearing a bra and dances "slutty." Personally I don't think she's a stank, she is young and just likes to have fun which is good because she is living out her life. Just because she wears revealing outfits doesn't make her a slut, as far I know a slut is someone who sleeps around a lot, which she does not since she's been with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth for a pretty long time. For me she is a great model and shows people to be themselves no matter what the haters say. :)

There are many possible things that could of changed Miley (these are all logical assumptions, not facts) 1) Miley probably did not like Hannah Montana that much- Many of her fans confused real Miley Cyrus with Hannah Montana. If Hannah Montana is nice and perky, then Miley is a nice and perky person too. Miley probably felt that she always had to suppress her real self just to stay famous. One day, she broke the barrier between Hannah and Miley. 2) Fame dies quick after those kind of sitcom shows - What happened to Victoria Justice? Jenette McCurdy? And so on. To stay in the fame game, Miley would have to come up with something.... 3) Being very controversial will keep fame!- Right? Okay, maybe not the type of fame a normal person wants but it is one type of fame that will draw followers in and the money... BUT MOSTLY ATTENTION4) Miley's fiancé, Liam, dumped her - To my knowledge, Miley didn't write "Wrecking Ball" but it is possible the song is about him. After a heartbreaking loss like that, something broke in her 5) Miley aged up with her fans- (If this was the reason why she did what she did, Miley Cyrus is a very intelligent woman.) Hannah Montana appealed to 3-12 year old girls. Those girls were late 90's to early 2000 babies. What happened to those girls AKA Miley's fanbase? They grew up to be teenagers and high schoolers. And what appeals to high schoolers? Sex, drugs, parties, wild lifestyles, etc.
What would happen if Miley Cyrus came back to Disney Channel?
She wouldn't be the Miley Cyrus she used to be, part of what made that show Hannah Montana a success on the Disney Channel in her original run 12 years ago was because of the fact that she was a teenager at the time.These was her post Hannah Montana years where she was still doing the music but without the Disney image :It was at this phase when she was in her late teens - early 20s and was getting too old for the Disney stuff so she started wearing skimpy clothes, then cut off her long hair and was doing this crazy sexual provocative things that were done to get away from her old happy go lucky goody two shoes image (which caused a lot of controversy at the time).Okay now if you think these are bad …It gets worse …Seriously ? What the hell was she doing there ? I'll admit I wasn't a fan of the Disney image before she started shaking her ass and doing these weird gestures with her tongue sticking out but this is ridiculous. Even I WANTED THE OLD MILEY BACK !!Wait what ?That's not an ice cream cone Miley, put your tongue back in your mouth, do you seriously think anybody wants to touch that ?So after a few years of all of that nonsense, she went back to her old family friendly image again but I doubt she'll ever be associated with Disney ever again because of all of that stuff she did in the past to get away from it, when she was doing all that crazy stuff a few years ago that wasn’t appropriate for younger viewers, and I doubt Disney would even want her back anyway, she's too old for that now and plus she's already had her time there.
Why is Miley Cyrus so hated?
Miley Cyrus went from Hannah Montana, a goofy Disney kid's show, to Bangerz, her hyper-sexualized hit album in about eighteen months. This change happened so quickly it absolutely shocked parents across the country.The only reason that Miley was looked at in media is because she used to be in a Disney show.Once she left the show, she went out and became a hyper-sexualized character on stage to sell, because sex sells a lot of records.It really seemed like an immature attempt to declare to the world that she's an adult. Almost like a three year old stomping her feet and saying, "I'm a big girl!" I appreciate that Miley does what she wants and that she is smart about it, in terms of her business.She's just going through her phase like tons of pop stars before her. She's no different than any other pop star, and she's been very successful at that.I think she's pretty fuckin weird, but she does a lot of good charity work.

I like Miley. I didn't like her when she was going through her attention-whore teen phase, but she's an adult now and she's engaged, so I think she deserves to make her own choices. She's not contracted to Disney anymore so the only role model obligation she has is to her little sister (and she seems to be pretty good with Noah!) She's a smart girl and she doesn't let other people mold who she's "supposed to be," which I think is great. There are so many celebrities that just slide into the Hollywood cookie cutter mold, but not Miley. I like the edgy Miley. There are a lot of kids that are "edgy" that are seen as freaks and outcasts. Maybe a celebrity that people admire, like Miley, who's like that will change that perception.
Could Miley Cyrus have been able to stay super-popular and relevant without changing her image to something so sexually-charged and outrageous?
No. Miley needed to break free of the curse of her Hannah Montanna days so she could be regarded as an adult in the music business instead of as a perennial teenager. She is too young to reasonably sell emotional maturity as an artist, but sexual maturity was a tool at her disposal, one that she wielded with tremendous confidence.Madonna knows the difference between a slut and a superstar.I do not believe women should have to "slut" themselves out to get treated like grown ups, but it is a tactic that has been used by many, many before her and I have no doubt it will continue to serve its purpose in times to come. Successful female teen singers usually all go through this public "coming out" phase, or become irrelevant quickly. Look at Christina Aguilerra and Brittney Spears who both went from Disney to the big time. Also examine stars like Tiffany and Blossom who failed to get treated seriously as adults due to a perception that they were just good kids. Very few young entertainers can maintain the middle ground like Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, but even combined they are not close to Miley in sales and superstardom. Taylor Swift is a very rare exception to the conundrum of how to grow up gracefully as an entertainer without using your sexuality, but she needs a new trick soon because the eternal flirty ingenue will not hold up for much longer unless she shows some true grit- sexual or otherwise.Miley is an amazing singer. Nobody disputes that. She is also an amazing entertainer who seems to be driving the decisions in her life. This should also be easy to confirm. The only unknown to me is if she can stay clear of drugs, alcohol, and crappy relationships, but as of now- I am a fan. Big fan.Again, Madonna picks the superstars.As an observation, I find it interesting that people are not up in arms about Freida Pinto acting as a hot Latina stripper in Bruno Mars recent Gorilla video. Nor did they care when Demi Moore played a stripper in that movie. I see no difference except the hypocrisy of a public that misses Hannah Montanna so much they do not want her to grow up. Good thing Miley came in 'like a wrecking ball' and is smashing down the misogynistic walls that tell women what they should and shouldn't do with their lives, their money, their talent, and their bodies.

I think her twerking thing was just a phase from her break up and everyone makes mistakes they aren't proud of.She has said she's quit weed so seems she's making some changes to her life. Miley Cyrus is a human. She hasn't done anything terrible such as murder or rape as far as the world knows. What she has done is grown up. People are upset because she is becoming her own person and acting less like who she was on a television show. It is not her obligation to act the way people would like. She isn't hurting anyone so she can dance and love how she pleases.
