How can I cancel my credit card permanently?
In order to cancel/Close the existing credit card, you will need to contact the customer care.Customer care numbers are made available at the backside of the credit card or you may search the same from the banks website.Upon calling you have to let them know of your intention to cancel/close down the credit card.The bank will help you in the same & will ask for any outstanding to be paid before the cancellation/closure of the card.Once you are done with complete payment of any outstanding amount the card shall be closed/cancelled & you are being notified about the same.Also post cancellation, let the bank know about your intention of either receiving the periodic updates/notification about the credit card or not. Because its being seen that even after closure of the card, the mails etc keeps on coming.Also make sure to ask for a NOC for the credit card after closure. REMEMBER: Credit Card is a Credit Product. Hi,As of now, there is no online provision to cancel/stop PF Claim requests.However, you may try submitting your grievance in this regard to the EPFO and let them know that you would like to get your claim cancelled. My passport application is under process at the Regional Passport Office. What does it mean?
I do not know when you wrote this to quora, but i happened to see it today. Well, by now, you must have got your PP or at least the intimation about it, since you say it's under Tatkal quota. Usually, when the RPO says "application under process", it means that it is on the way to be issued. If there is any hitch, then the RPO says it specifically, like "PVR not clear", etc., wherein the applicant may have to inquire at the RPO about the same and for a remedy or rectification(not bribe, please). It's still a far cry with our RPOs to expect them to adhere to timelines (of course, first to prescribe and then to adhere) for every stage of the process of issue of passports. I request every PP applicant to write a few lines about his/her experience in getting/renewing the PP to quora and with a copy to Min. of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi by email for the benefit of all and to spread awareness among the people and to keep the RPO staff wary of their unreasonable delays, if any.

Probably not. You need at least a 2.8 just to apply, and that will not get you in. the average accepted is aroud 3.6-3.7 depending on the school. Here is what you can do. If you still have time left, work your *** off and get good grades. You have to demonstrate the ability to do well, and if you show improvement then they may be more forgiving. however, with 4 Fs there is no way you can get your GPA up high enough for med school, since you have to give them ALL your transcripts. So what you have to do next is get a masters. there are several one year programs in clinical anatomy or human physiology. These are closely related to the first year med school curriculum, and if you did well there you could probably get in to med school. Good luck.

How can I convert my Tatkal passport application to a normal passport application?
Hi All,I am compelled to write this answer coz I have experienced this situation myself few weeks back. Coming straight to the point if you have filled an online application for resissue passport in Tatkal category then the passport officer would ask you to get pre police verification certificate. This is damn tedious and you may have to visit places by places to get this done still no guarantee to get the verifcation. However, the best alternative in such scenario is this you may just reschedule your appointment in normal category and visit passport office. They will themselves consider you in normal category and no additional documents will be required. The entire procedure will take around 30 min and the passport will sent for printing the same day.Take away: Prefer to fill an online passport application in normal category instead of tatkal category. “Tatkal” may sound that your work will be done earlier but the reality is complete opposite.Hope this helps!!

Bigamy is not that uncommon, I know a couple of people who have done it (but I'm not going to name them on a forum). Some people who migrate to another country have abandoned a spouse in the old country, then, when the years have gone by they just get married again assuming no one will find out about the old marriage. Getting a marriage legally dissolved is expensive and time consuming, some people just abandon a marriage that has gone bad. Anyone caught committing bigamy says the same thing "I didn't know my first marriage was legal". Seriously how can a person be married and not know it?In your story, a person could have a marriage in a small town in some other country, they drift apart then one of them migrates, keeps telling himself/herself that maybe the marriage wasn't registered with the national records, maybe the other person remarried, the other person must have had the marriage legally terminated by now, no one in the new country will find out (people are good at rationalizing their actions). How's this for a scenario - loving couple goes on vacation gets married in another country (Maldives, Thahiti Fiji). It seemed so wonderful and romantic at the time. They don't tell anyone because they want to do the proper church ceremony back home. Things don't go to plan and the second marriage ceromony doesn't happen and they eventually split up. As far as all their friends and relatives are concerned, they are still single so it's no big deal. Years go by and the wedding ceremony seems like a dream. Sure they got a marriage certificate somewhere (but can't seem to find it), but is it legal? Was that guy authorized to conduct wedding ceremonies and did he bother to register it with the government of that tiny country? is it recognized in my home counrty? Did their ex go back to that country and arrange a divorce or anullment already so they could move on? What's the harm if they don't tell their new love interest about this little secret? The marriage didn't even seem real, except one day the original spouse comes back and wants to rekindle the romance.
