I'm a little new with tablets, and for Christmas I received a Prestige 7" Android tablet. My cousin told me she has an Android device and she installed Google Play for her apps and music, unfortunately, she lives accross the country & she can't show me how. Can't add Google Account on rooted Android?
I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Y and removed some stock app including Talk and Email. Now, I can't access my Google account. There's no option for adding google account in Settings/Accounts & Sync/Add Account Also, when I launch Android Market, it ask me to add account but when I click to add one, the app just closes! Plz help!

Why do I get this message constantly on my Samsung tablet?
The application market (process com.google.android.finsky) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Then it gives me a choice to Force close or Report. I've done both a soft and hard reset & gone n to manage applications to clear cache, data & uninstall updates. When I try to look at something from the market app or google play store I get this message & when I want to install something it keeps loading & nothing happens. When I am lucky enuf to get n to the google play store it shows the apps I've tried to download as installed, but they don' show up anywhere.

What does factory resetting my android do?
It is called "factory reset" for a reason. It resets absolutely everything on your phone, so that your phone is the exact same as when it came out of the factory. You can always double check though by factory resetting it, then turning it on. As for moving apps to an sd card, I know that lots of apps can be installed on the sd card, but I don't know a easy of moving them there once they are installed. Done apps have a setting in them to move them, but not many. If you are trying to get all of your old stupid onto your new phone, all you need to do is sign into your google account on you're new phone. Google keeps the information of all the apps you bought etc, and should be transferred automatically onto a new phone when you login to your Google account on it.
