What happens if i fail my Drivers Ed test?

So later this week i'm going to take my drivers ed test in highschool, but my parents aren't letting me get a license sense if i did the cost of the insurance would go up and i'm not really going anyway for the next few years. So what happens if i fail the test, but not getting my drivers license even if i did pass?

I failed my drivers ed class but I have my permit. Do I have to take driver's ed again?

If you are under 18 then you are required by law to pass drivers ed. If you are 18 or over then you just have to take your driving test. That is the law of Ohio but it might be different where you are at. Just call your local BMV and they will tell you.

What do i do if my drivers permit expired but im 18 already?

i live in California. and last year when i completed my 6 months with my drivers permit and i went to get my license, but i failed the first time for the drivers test, and i was suppose to go back in 7 days but i didnt and now my permit expired and i dont know if i could take my drivers test again, what do i need to do? im turning 19 in august, and i already completed my drivers school last year and i have my certificate.

How many questions can you get wrong on California’s driver permit test and still pass?

Their website has 2 answers depending on age:Driver License and Identification Card InformationUnder How to apply for a provisional permit if you are under 18it says: Pass a traffic laws and sign test. There are 46 questions on the test. A passing score is at least 38 correct answers. You have three chances to pass the test. If you fail, you must wait 7 days before taking it again. How to apply for a driver license if you are over 18:You have three chances to pass the driving test. If you fail, you may practice for a while, then make another appointment. There is no waiting period, but you must make an appointment. If you fail to successfully complete the driving test on the first attempt, you must pay a $6 fee for each additional driving test that is administered under an application for an original or renewal driver license.I don’t think there’s any difference in how many written questions you have to get right if you’re over 18.The DMV website is your best authority on this. What happens if i fail driving school?

NEVER think about Failing. Because the MORE you do, the more likely you Will !! :(

Do I need to take the 5 hour driver's ed course if my license expired more than 8 years ago, but I had one before?

In Virginia (where I'm most familiar with the DMV) they can demand that you re-take the drivers test under any circumstance. When I moved back to Virginia from Michigan (10 years lapsed) I had to redo the written portion. Driver's permits are not a right. The state can require whatever they want, and if you want to be granted legal permission to operate a vehicle in that state of your primary abode, you must do what the state requires.

I have failed two drivers ed end of unit tests!?

Of so not like the permit tests but in the middle of chapters. I redo it right away but what happens if this happens? The second time I do it I pass! The only reason I am failing is because my computer is glitching and pressing a different answer. Will I not be able to get my permit? What will happen?

What is needed to retake the DMV written test after I failed three times in California?

First you need to get the DMV handbook and actually study it. Take the practice tests on the internet. You obviously don't know it all or you would have passed. Once you have done these things make a new appointment at the DMV and pay another $65. You only get 3 chances per fee. So you are starting all over.

What do I do to start driving again? I took driver’s ed a couple of years ago and haven't driven since then, but my mother is asking me to driver her for almost an hour tomorrow (in traffic and everything). I also have my permit.

Well you can’t drive anyone, legally, until you have your licence—and in most places that means taking, and passing a driving test, with someone else (already licensed) driving you to the test site.—which means it’s time to contact a driving school for a “refresher course and test”—and maybe you need to get a “beginner’s permit” before hand—check with your local authority.——-And, that means that NO, YOU CAN’T LEGALLY DRIVE MOTHER TOMORROW!
