I only get 4-5 hours of sleep a night?

your still very young so right now you might feel fine but i can tell you that it will catch up with you later in life. Sleep is the only real thing that recovers our bodies from the work we put it through every day and you need to be asleep for 3 straight hours to to get REM sleep. REM sleep is what the body and brain need to properly rest. Looks like your getting a little but not enough and then your body eats as much up on the weekends.

don't ever think you can "catch up" on sleep. I have heard so many people even older than me say that in life, and sleep is one of the few things you can can't catch up on, in other words if you get 4 hours, that's what your body will use and feel like that day, just because you got 14 hours on the weekend doesn't mean it lasts more than a day, the 14 hours just lasts your body that day alone. Try getting 6 hours, still not that healthy but much better than 4 or 5.

From the bad experiment I have done in my education time I can tell this observation.Initially you will be feeling more and more caffeinated from the alcoholic state of your tiredness.But gradually you will be having headaches and your body will stop responding to the stimulus sure providing for getting much out of your day.now that you have played with your body. Your vitals will become in a very bad state and you will start to have body aches and different type of problems even after a day of lack of sleepAfter some more time now problem from lack of sleep persist but your sleep disorders continues. You will not be able to sleep but at the same time from lack of sleep your body will keep degrading.

You're young, and your body can take quite the punch. Just think of all those college kids that can spend an entire night (or multiple) partying and drinking, and then go straight to class without any sleep at all. Not even to mention going through a full day of boring lectures!
Or all those people that work physically demanding jobs for days on end without (barely any) sleep!

Just convince yourself you can do it (which, without a doubt you actually can).

PS: sugar helps, but beware. After a while you'll crash and become even more tired. Save it for when you most need it!

Can you live by getting 2-3 hours of sleep a night ?

No, I get 5 hours a sleep a night, and sometimes I just want to die. I get grouchy, can't think, forget what I'm doing, and some days can't even drive, and that's with 5! I can't imagine how aweful 2 to 3 would be. Don't do it, just sleep more, you need it.
