I didn't get what I wanted for Christmas?
First off, I am a normal, middle class child. Please don't call me ungrateful and "disgusting" and tell me to "look at the starving African kids" when you get/got Christmas presents yourselves. With that, here I go. I wanted a pair of headphones this year because I am an angsty old teenager who wants to zone out from the rest of the world. So I asked for them. That's actually a big deal because I am a VERY modest child (to the point I make my parents worry because I won't tell them what I want to eat, or if I'm injured etc etc) and that was the first time I REALLY wanted something and actually, made a 1-object Christmas list. But I found out today, accidentally that my mom ordered 1 pair of headphones. For my sister. Not me. So I said "Hey mom, are you going to get headphones for me for Christmas?" and she said, "No...your sister needs them more" because my sister is in college and she's in a dorm. So I said, "Ok, yeah it's ok you don't need to buy them for me. I don't need them." And that was that. But truthfully, I'm a WEETLE bit hurt because I REALLY wanted a pair of headphones and this was one year I REALLY wanted something. So, how should I deal with this? Just get over it? Or tell my mom? What?
What should I get my 14 year old daughter for christmas?
I have already bought most of the clothing, makeup and shoes on her list but i need something exciting that she could open last on christmas.
