What If I Add A Program To My Antivirus Exceptions And .

How can I add exceptions for Spybot Search & Destroy?

I have Spybot Search and Destroy as my main spyware and virus protection for my laptop. I also have Steam downloaded on my laptop (to play Valve games). But Spybot is preventing Steam from being able to connect to the internet. I know this is the problem because it is on the list of things that may keep Steam from working. So I need to add it to the list of exceptions.

But I don't know where the list of exceptions is or how to do it. Help?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sensible Vision\Fast Access\falou.exe: Virus, or worm, and how to get rid of it?

Hi! Its not a virus/malware but is categorised as potentially unwanted program/ riskware by many anti viruses... It can be used by malware to harm your PC.. But as it seems to me, it is some sort of face recognition software.. No need to panic... Add it to your exceptions list...

Your code may be behaves like a virus, like accessing some file which belongs to the system, change some system settings and such. These and similar activities can be classified as suspicious activities which are blocked.

How do I stop Avira antivirus from uninstalling the cracked version of Wondershare Filmora on my system?

Its not very ethical to use pirated versions of software.Uninstall the software.Reboot the system.Disable the antivirus.Make a fresh installation of the software. In anti-virus’s settings, under exception, add the *.exe file of the software. The anti-virus will now ignore the software, and thus won’t uninstall the software.

Do Android phones need antivirus or internet security apps?

Before answering your question, you must understand the basic architecture of the Android operating system. Viruses are the consequences of vulnerability of the system to protect itself from any external programs that work maliciously without the knowledge of user and/or system. Here is the basic architecture diagram of the Android:You will notice that all the programs are installed in userland area (uppermost layer) below which application framework is there.Fundamentally all Linux based distributions are immune to any viruses. Android has no exception. Android is just yet another Linux based mobile operating system. So, the answer to your question is NO! Android phones need not any antivirus. But that doesn’t mean that Android is safe from Malwares & Viruses, just the mechanism & propagation (spreading) of the intrusion of the Virus or any Malware is different than that of Windows.Viruses & Malwares come from user installed programs. They can not spread automatically like Windows Viruses. Here, end user is culprit, who confers user rights to such programs that may infect userland area of the applications.Precautions to be taken while installing any App from the store or USB:Don’t trust any application from Play store blindly. Please verify the developer of the app & it’s reputation. e.g. see image:Before installations, please check permission asked by the app. In any case if you feel this app may cause damage, malfunction and any other suspicious permission, do not install that app.(This app seeks permission to retrieve running apps & read sensitive log data. Do not install such applications.) By conferring such permissions you allow that malicious application to take your phone’s control, and you feel that your phone has been infected with the virus.DO NOT INSTALL ANY POPULAR ANTI-VIRUS (OFTEN FOUND AD ON TV) ON YOUR PHONE. SUCH ANTI-VIRUS GENERATES FAKE VIRUS REPORT AND CONVINCE USER THAT HOW IT WORKS PERFECTLY AND HOW WISE YOU ARE THAT YOU CHOSE TO INSTALL THIS ANTI-VIRUS.Also do not install such apps which displays malicious ads which tells that your phone has been infected and install so and so anti-virus. Do no trust on such ads and simple do not install such apps which shows such ads.

I get an 'unhandled exception' error when opening fifaconfig.exe in FIFA 15. Can somebody help?

If you really need to lower graphics to make the game work, head to your documents and then FIFA 15. There must be a fifaconfig.ini file there. Otherwise, just create one using notepad. You can refer to the following settings that I played with:AUDIO_MIX_MODE = 0CONTROLLER_DEFAULT = 0DISABLE_WINDAERO = 0FULLSCREEN = 1MSAA_LEVEL = 0RENDERINGQUALITY = 1RESOLUTIONHEIGHT = 768RESOLUTIONWIDTH = 1366VOICECHAT = 0WAITFORVSYNC = 2(I used shift+enter to make the text at one place, use enter between two lines for actual purposes)Rendering quality 1 means very low. You can change it to 2/3 depending on low/medium. Height and Width is the resolution you need. WaitforVSync 2 means limit to 30fps. Use 0/1 for no limit/60fps. Stay with MSAA 0. Fullscreen 1/0 to have fullscreen/windowed.I guess I answered your question.

Free avast antivirus hurt my computer, did it conflict with microsoft essentials?

That's why you shouldn't have two antiviruses... I have Avira and Avast and know they "play nice" but I dont advice what I do, and I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING (note: that wasn't suppose to be "me taking a shot" ... if it seemed that way, sorry) ... Avira detects Avast, but I add an exception and its all ok....

to get to the point, ...I would go into the control panel and look for (XP - Add/Remove Programs) or Win7 (I think this is it) "Programs and features" and remove all Avast's and/or Microsoft Security Essentials and then reinstall the one you want to use and see if that helps.

There is no virus/malware (from the info you give) ... just a conflict between Antiviruses

I have Avast Internet security, and a key logger to watch over my children. When I try to install the key logger, avast deletes it. How can I allow avast to let me install and run the key logger?

I did have a lot more but i did a system restore and scanned again, when i deleted these last time it stopped my anti virus from working so im guessing these are false positives?

Can you suggest an antivirus software for my desktop? I have tried Kaspersky and K7 antivirus full versions, but they remove the crack files from the software even though I put them in the exclusion list.

Kaspersky is one of the best available overall suites as of the 2019 edition.Your problem is not the AV but the way you are setting up exclusions.Exclusions don't migrate when the file is copied from one location to another. You will need to exclude entire destination folders before being able to move a suspect file in to it.You will also need to exclude your entire temporary folder if you are trying to extract a suspect file through WinZip or WinRAR, as they first decompress to the temporary folder before moving the file to the destination.Sounds complicated, but isn't if you understand the logic.
