What If I Do Not Want To Drink Tea Any Other Option

I want to be healthier and stop drinking soda. What are good alternatives?

Coca Cola is DELICIOUS. So I completely feel your pain. I tended to drink one-a-day. So I can tell you how to stop this, as I have! First pick one day a week (to start) you absolutely cannot have a coke. Do not fail yourself on this day, then, add it up to 2 days. If you find yourself really struggling, have a sparkling water - this is my method. If this really does not work, have a different soda that you can ‘enjoy’ but don’t love as much, I choose coke zero or Dr. Pepper. I allow myself weekends as my soda weekends, this allows for a ‘treat’; bearing in my mind I do not drink alcohol so I still see it as a lesser evil :) Hope this helps! If you experience caffeine headaches ween yourself off with smaller cokes, I don’t drink much in one sitting anyway so I opt to buy (even though they are more expensive) the 7.5 fl oz mini cans. This is a much better portion that still fulfills my craving but is half the calories, etc.

Any Other Drinks?

Does anyone know any other drink that is really good and healthy? Like soda, is really addicting but it's unhealthy. What are some other choices that won't go dead to me?

I don’t want to drink tea or coffee. What is the best alternative drink I can take every morning and evening which is healthy and yet tasty?

Plain tap water is my favorite beverage, can be drunk anytime of day at any temperature, and is the most hydrating beverage possible. Try that.If you don’t like that, add lemon juice, or find a drink powder to add. Or try a tisane: like tea, but with a different herb instead of the tea plant. There are hundreds of options for herbal drinks. There is also milk and juice. You are aware of the existence of juice, yes?If you are looking for a buzz without the caffeine, lookup yerba mate. If you just dislike hot beverages, try instant coffee in cold water. If you just dislike caffein, try decaf coffee.

Question regarding store bought tea?

I just found out I'm dehydrated so Im having to force myself to drink more. I have not drank tea since I was a kid and was sick. Could not keep anything down and tea is the only taste I continued to dislike.

Started with poweraid diluted half & half with water and bought some Publix sweet tea and have been diluting it the same.

The publix tea is onsale bogo. However, I do not have room for another in the fridge. And they do not sell unrefrigerated.

So is it safe to store at room temp?

Thanks.

Brewing my own is not really an option as I don't have any way to brew it. Not a coffee drinker either. Instant only in rare cases.

I could get unsweet but Id have to add sugar. Seems easier to just dilute with water since I am not drinking so much for taste as I am hydration.

I don't drink tea or coffee. How do I respond creatively when I am offered a cup of either beverage?

Off the top of my head:"You want some tea or coffee"?"No, thank you, but I don't want to disrupt my sleep cycle in an abrupt fashion like this"Now I admit , this does sound a bit arrogant, and you'd be right. Don't say that.Providing a legitimate reason why you don't prefer something usually works. But being clever with it usually doesn't help, because coming off as arrogant/polite also depends on how you convey the message: "Thanks, but I prefer an extra hour of sleep"See? Much more polite. Do that.

What drinks should I avoid during menstruation?

During menstruation you need to avoid taking any drink that is very hot or cold. This is because drinks metabolise faster than solids. Also it is not that you are a tank and what you pour from your mouth will reach the stomach as it is. The action of cold and hot drinks is not suitable during menstruation. Some hot drinks can cause a distress that leads to worsening of cramps. Cold drinks of the other hand cause contractions of the alimentary canal.Drinks that you must avoid during periodsTea - Caffeine has a diuretic action which is not very favorable for your. Along with that tea has stimulating affects that lead to aggravating pain.Soft drinks - Aerated drinks can cause acidity and thus lead to bloating. The more the intestines expand the worse the reaction from uterus.Alcohol - It is best to avoid alcohol when you are already in a hormone roller coaster.Lemon juice - Lemon is a slightly strong juice with laxative effects. During periods some women have loose motions, lemon juice especially concentrated is not suitable at this time.Pineapple juice - The menstruation inducing Pineapple has xylaine. This proteolytic enzyme isn't suitable during menstruation when you have great options like chocolate and doughnuts!!!

How do I quit putting sugar in my tea?

sugar works the same way as any other drag. the only way to eliminate it from your life is to a)reduce the intake gradually (something you are already doing) or b)cut it off once and for all. Both options would lead to the "withdrawal" period problem when you will crave sugar and think that everything without it tastes bad. Unfortunately, the only option for you is to just suffer through this period (it might take several days to several weeks). After that, your body will adjust and you will stop craving sugar. When it comes to tea in particular: drinking good quality tea with sugar is a sin! Just try switching to good tea. In addition, oolongs, for instance, are somewhat sweet just as they are, so maybe try drinking those (or white/green tea) when you are in "withdrawal". Many many years ago, I was putting a lot of sugar in my tea. When I decided to stop, I did it gradually. I also reduced the concentration of my tea by brewing it for shorter periods of time with less tea leaves/per pot/ - it reduced bitterness that you might find hard to get used to when reducing sugar in your tea. In addition, I started drinking more green tea and oolongs. Hope, it helps.
