Do we get migration certificate in Delhi University?
Yes you can get a migration certificate after the completion of your degree.But colleges themselves don't provide you.. They only give you a Character Certificate and a Provisional Certificate just after the completion & your Final Degree will be awarded to you after around 1–2 years.Migration is usually required only if you are taking admission in some other university other than D.UTo get a Migration certificate you have to fill up a form ( which u can get from your college or from V.C office) .. Get it attested from your college & submit it to the examination department of Delhi University.The fees for availing the Certificate is Rs 500 & it takes a week to get it.Also Students of south Campus have to apply for it at the D.U’s examination department in the South campus while the rest have to apply at the examination dept. at the V.C office in North campus.

Does short attendance in DU create problems?
Firstly, why would you not want to attend class? Secondly, yes short attendance does create problems. But this varies from college to college in DU. For example in my time (2010–13), students in LSR had to slog for those 5 marks in attendance by attending almost 85% classes, whereas our friends in Hindu didn’t have to sit in class for attendance ;)I have heard stories about colleges like Venkateswara being quite liberal with attendance (can differ from department to department) and colleges like Stephens even making assembly compulsory (that’s actually insane, tbh).In LSR, some students end up losing a year because of short attendance. There’s ECA and Medical to make up for short attendance, but then, Medical doesn’t grant you any leverage. It just protects you from missing a year.In summation: Why is this question even being asked? I have had the most wonderful time attending classes in DU, because there is so much to learn from what the Professor had to say about the discipline. There is such a vast ocean of knowledge out there, why not soak it in? If you’re that interested in not attending college, then don’t enroll in one in the first place. You will save a seat for a person who maybe actually wanted to go to college and couldn’t :)

Nothing will happen in ICSE. It may be ignored. However, if the examiner is just too particular like my English teacher, he may deduct some marks. Seriously, you'd have got a big zero if it was isc. I got complete marks in the listing of points in my prelims (i gave my isc this year), and a big zero, a straight line cut in the grid because.. because.. I didn't write ‘Q. 4(iv.)’ adjacent to my grid. Don't worry. Just don't repeat it ever again in any subjective exam. I have this odd belief that the council believes more in student's knowledge of the question pattern and some crammed articles rather than concept and problem solving ability. Anyway, can't blame it even. Competitive exams cater to this need.Thank you!

Since you have done your graduation from SOL, you will get the degree delivered at your postal address registered with DU after the completion of span period. Span period of Hons. courses is 5 years and for all the other courses it is 6 years.For example, if you have done B.Com (Hons.) then you will get the degree after 2 years from the date of declaration of final year result.
