What Inch Tv Do I Need For A Desk

Can we use Mi TV 4A 32 inch as a desktop monitor?

The Mi TV 4A doesn’t have a VGA port. If your motherboard has a HDMI output, you can connect your TV using an HDMI cable and use it as a desktop monitor.

I need a desk about 100-120 Inches in length and about 25-35 in width... HELP?

Put the heavier items (mini fridge, computer) UNDER the desk. That way you will have more usable space on the desktop. A desk with cross pieces between the legs will have more stability, but avoid any that are in the way of your feet. A metal framework desk is generally more stable and durable than wood. Glass tops can be scratched or broken.

While there are lots of online sites selling desks, be aware that you will have to put together anything you have shipped to you. That could require a simple screw driver, or lots of other tools. Be sure to read any reviews; helpful info is often included there. Also make sure the desk will be tall enough that your legs won't bump the underside when you sit at it. Buying a desk from a local store allows you to inspect the quality of the materials and design, and you can try out the sizing. But, you might still have to put it together yourself. Ask about assembly and delivery availability, and costs for these services.

Can I use a 42 inch TV stand for a 50 inch TV?

I recently bought a 50 inch plasma tv. When I was shopping for a TV stand I found the perfect stand which would go with my furniture but unfortunately the specifications mention that it can fit a TV upto 42 inches. But when I checked the maximum weight allowed on the stand, it is much higher than my TV (it allows upto 100 lbs, my tv weighs 62 lbs).
This is the first time I am buying a HDTV. How important is it that I need to buy a stand which is made specifically for TVs 50 inch and above? Can I go with a 42 inch TV stand which I think should fit the TV? Fyi, I am not mounting the TV just placing it on the stand.

Loft bed and desk for low ceiling?

I really want a loft bed but my ceiling is 90" high, about 7.5 ft. I'd have an 8 inch full size mattress.

My wishlist:
a MINIMUM of 2 feet between the ceiling, and my head
built in desk and lots of storage beneath
a minimum of 50" of space between bed and floor
somebody to put it together for me
already painted (preferably white)
able to ship to New Hampshire
I DO NOT want a DIY or anything like that
Price doesn't really matter
Must fit all needs above

I LOVE this one but my ceiling is too low

Would you have your flat screen TV installed on your wall?

Putting the TV on the wall does look nice, but if you have other components to go with it, you still need a place to put them. I have a cable box, DVD player, and receiver. The stand I got was made for flat TVs, so it is very thin (comes about 16" away from the wall. It gives me a place to put the components and looks pretty sharp. I have seen TVs mounted on the wall when components are in a small cabinet, stand, or similar. The components always look out of place. Keep in mind that your components need to breathe. If you are considering placing them in a remote location, it needs to be well ventilated. Also keep in mind the signal attenuation. If the components are 15 feet from the TV (vs 3 feet) the signal may loose quality.

Obviously do whatever you think will look best in your place. I suggest a stand because it looks good, can be cheaper than the wall mount, holds your components, and is more flexible if you ever want to change the arrangement of your entertainment room.
