Phone will detect them for sure.But there won't be any network signal. Trying to use a chinese-made 3G dongle on the AT&T or Verizon cell network. It's specifically used for my Pumpkin android car radio. Hi,I am assuming that the words you used in your question are used in everyday life (not going by definition).In that context, Datacard and Dongle are just synonyms and are used to have wireless connectivity with cellular networks (by definition, dongle also means a small piece of hardware that attaches to a computer).In general, 2G sim should work with the 3G datacard as the manufactrers normally keep this scenario in mind & make the data cards backward compatible. In anyway, it wouldn't hurt to confirm with the vendor once.Which will be the best buy?Obvious.
