It is a country song... I know it is a guy in a black cowboy hat & I've seen the video on CMT before. This guy (in the video) drives a semi truck and driving away from his house out in the country, leaving his family behind. (It is an cool song...) Anybody know what song I'm talking about? There are many good Hindi rock songs that can suit your purpose. I would prefer singing happy or enthusiastic songs. Because sad songs are not much appreciated if the occasion is an annual function or something similar where everyone is in a jolly mood.If I were to sing on stage, I would chose my songs carefully. Here are my choices:1. Naav (Udaan) - This is an inspirational song. It sings about fighting all odds to achieve your goals. The lyrics are well written and sung by Mohan from the band 'Agni'.2. Since the movie is about breaking chains holding you back from seeking your dreams, the lyrics are about how a leap towards success cannot be held back by no matter what.3. Azadiyan (Udaan) - Well, the lyrical theme goes with the movie's theme. What makes this song a brilliant choice for the public is the climax, 'Kahaani khatm hain, ya shuruwat, hone ko hain'.4. Emotional Atyachar (rock version, Dev D) - A massively amazing song to get the crowd in the mood.5. Bhaag DK Bose (Delhi Belly) - If the organizers allow it!6. The song is about a grandfather that is trying to get to his granddaughter before she passes away, he is carrying his rocking chair with him as well because that is the only way that she will go to sleep. A verse in the song is Grandpa will rock you bye and bye. He talks about while he is rocking her he can hear the angels singing as they were coming to take her.
