How would you define a good job?
I personally think that a good job has these elements:Stability. A good job is stable and I am secure in it. It is financially stable enough to pay my bills and I'm not afraid of losing my job due to cuts or company setbacks.Strong morale. I have coworkers that I like to be around and we have a strong sense of being a team. We like what we do and we're good at it. We don't have to be friends, but I want a positive environment where it's easy to work with the people around me.Rewarding work. Above all, a good job in my mind has to have some kind of reward to it. I personally want to do work that makes a difference. I am happiest when I feel that I am able to help people and provide a service that is needed. If my job doesn't have that, I lose my sense of purpose.

You are so focused. Well done.First of all I'm unsure what an automotive smog technician does but it sounds a far cry from your chosen profession. If I were you instead of looking for any good job I'd focus on building a career within an industry related to actuarial science. You can do that by identifying companies that will eventually be interested in hiring you as an Actuary (eg. insurance firms) and do any office role there (including sales).By getting your foot in the door now, would mean that it's easier to breakthrough into your chosen career once you've gained your qualification. Will I ever get a good job?
I personally believe all the jobs are good so whether it be the Prime Minister’s job or a Clerk’s job. To satisfy one’s hunger one has to do a job or run a business.There are ‘N’ number of jobs available in the market, it totally depends upon your interest, keyskills, industry knowledge, likes/dislikes, competence, caliber bla bla bla…There is a quote in marketing, “Survival of the fittest those who are fit will survive others will perish” So if you are competent enough to survive the challenges you will definately excel in your desired field and make a difference.Many are performing well in their dream jobs whereas some are stuck in doing wrong jobs where they are lacking their interest due to which there is an intense decline in productivity.To find a good job refer my previous answer,Rohit Bisht's answer to How can I get a job in companies?Indeed! What is a good entry level job?
my suggestion is to find any type of job at a large company. These companies promote from within and you will see what is available to you once you are in. For example: If you are the receptionist and a good one, they may give you the opportunity to be a project assistant in the marketing department. From there, you can get promoted and move on up to the good jobs. 70% of people either get promoted from within or know someone to get a good job. I started renting cars and now am a Human Resources Director. A friend I know started in the mail room and is a Vice president at a large company. Another friend took a really low paying job at a pharmaceutical company to get into their ranks. All have absolutely awesome jobs a few years later. They will train you... you just need to prove yourself first. you can do it!

If you've been given a task and have accomplished it successfully, you will be asked to do it again. If you continue to do well, you will be asked to show others how to do it.

Become a master of any programming language...java, php, python or any of your choice. Keeping that aside you must know how to express yourself with confidence without giving the interviewers a hint of nervousness...just practice on how to present yourself confidently... sometimes zero knowledge but shear confidence will take you places...
Is working for the post office a good job?
My husband works for the post office. It has it's pros and cons like any other job out there. It can be stressful, but can also be fun. They pay is good, the hours all depend on the office you are in and how well it is managed...Also what position you are in. They have PTF- which is a part time flexible only guaranteed 4 hours of work per week, but usually get at least 30. FTF full time flex, means you are guaranteed 40 hours but no set schedule, and a regular which guarantees you 40 hours, and regular days off and paid holidays. Most people start off as PTF's and work their way up through the seniority ladder until they get a regular slot, or transfer into a supervisor, manager or post master position. The medical benefits are pretty good. the dental and vision plans have alot of room for improvement... If you are prior military you can buy back your service time to be applied to your retirement plan with the post office... Which is good. Overall the post office has given my husband stability and a means of providing well for his family.
What is a good job to have if I hate working for women?
Personally don't hate because any gender can be successful in any gender dominated field.Analyse why they are at high position and what they did for that.Need can be turn in success because if we add all things in vegetable can be made successfully and think of many kind of ways to get success in better way.Realise importance to need of what is your pursuance there and don't comment them personally but if anyone telling you personally tell them politely and think when make decision.Analyse way to success which can be differ to anyone like if someone need money for anyone operation, someone want to join any company.
