What Is A Good Muscle Relaxer That Does Not Make You Drowsy I Have Taken Flexeril And Zanaflex.

Xanax, codeine, zanaflex, and flexeril?

I was wondering if taking a couple pills of each would create a better high then just taking a bunch of one. I was planning on takin .5 mg of Xanax, around 150mg of codeine, and 10mg of both zanaflex and flexeril. Probably with some high quality ganja aswell. Hopefully I won't die and I'll be on top of the world. Just checking with you good people.

What is a good muscle relaxer that does not make you drowsy? I have taken Flexeril and Zanaflex.?

you could inquire about a medication called Baclofen.

It is a muscle relaxant that is used for MS and spinal conditions.
It does not make you as drowsy as some of the others but as with all medications your actual mileage may vary.

Good luck

Anyone taken the muscle relaxer flexeril?

I have taken flexeril many many times for muscle spasms-I have severe lower back pain. Flexeril works pretty well when you have back pain and it makes it easier to sleep. The main side effect for me is that it makes me feel sort of hung over the next day....like I am way out in la-la land and I have problems focusing. It goes beyond feeling tired. It makes me feel exhausted like I haven't slept in days. It affects my concentration/attention span. I agree with the other comments that you will just need to see how it affects you. My husband said tylenol works better for him than flexeril but he weighs 230lbs. Since women weigh less--might have different results.

Is there a better muscle relaxer (stronger) than zanaflex? I pulled my neck muscles yesterday. What can I do?

My Dr. put me on zanaflex because flexaril doesn't work at all. Lately I have had really tight muscles while taking 3 4mg zanaflex a day. He said that 12mg is the maximum dose. But I see a lot of people are on higher doses on internet forums.

Also, I pulled muscles in my neck doing yoga yesterday, and it hurts really bad. I can barely move my head at all. What can I do about this?

Do muscle relaxers thin your blood?

No, they don't thin your blood. Anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen and aspirin can thin the blood, of course as can stronger blood thinners like heparin and warfarin. And blood thinners are not totally contraindicated with tattoos, as there is almost no blood loss anyway. Bruising from the accident would bleed (under the skin) much more than a tattoo.

Does muscle relaxer abuse have any permanent side effects?

I know that they have many possible side effects the occur while on the category of muscle relaxants and they are supposed to be used for not much longer than ten days in a row at any given point to relieve pain and discomfort from a permanent or temporary condition. The long-term effetcts have to do with abuse and the organs that can undergo stress processing these medications, can develop a disorder in their long-term functioning. The liver or kidneys are targets for abuse of this medication and/or overdose. As with anything, the key is moderation and not combining medications for the “cocktailed” sedative effects with alcohol or other medications. Some are worse than others, for example Soma is much stronger than Flexaril and has been taken off the market in some countries all together for fear of heart failure and tendency for abuse. That is all the knowledge I possess on this question and I hope it helped!Take care.

What is the difference between flexeril and methocarbamol muscle relaxers? does one work better than the other?

The methocarbamol is a little stronger than the Flexeril however I prefer it mainly because the Flexeril makes me VERY sleepy-I can sleep for hours after taking one of those!

Muscle Relaxers messing me up, what do i do?

I've been taking Tizanidine for my neck has been ridiculously tense. So just this weekend i started taking them 3 a day because i was taking them gradually. The side effects are awful and my neck isn't even better. Btw, i'm 15.
These are the side effects i've been having.
-So fatigued and tired that i don't wanna do anything except watch house all day.
-I feel dizzy and paranoid all the time
-i'm so irritable that i just broke down crying today.
-I'm really depressed.
-I'm extremely hormonal.
-Antisocial... Which probably goes with depressed, or fatigued...
-Not caring about anything.
I usually not like this. Not at ALL. I'm a very bubbly, happy, optimistic teenager. Even my friends have been asking me why i'm different. Even on my bad days i have a smile on my face.
I'm not pmsing. or on my period. I've been off my period for 3 days now. So anything to do with that should be done.
So this leads us to the question part...
1. Should i go off the pills?
2. Will i at some point, be used to all this?
3. If i quit the pills how long will it be before I'm back to normal? (Without these side effects?)
Answer one, or two or all three, whatever. Just please help, my days have been miserable with this stuff. And it shouldn't be because i just started highschool:/ Any help is appreciated... Thank you so much. :S

Do muscle relaxants affect muscle growth?

Feeling sore after your last workout? Before you reach for an NSAID like ibuprofen, here’s what you need to know about how OTC pain relievers can affect muscle growth. This muscle building guide is brilliant: Become An Alpha MaleIf you’ve recently had a killer leg workout, DOMS is the soreness you feel that makes it difficult to walk for 1–3 days after that session. DOMS is thought to be caused by the eccentric (lengthening) portion of the exercise that causes microscopic tears to the muscle fibers. The soreness can be so bad that it’s often challenging to sit on the toilet, get in and out of your car, or even walk up a flight of stairs. While newcomers to weightlifting dread the pain associated with DOMS, it’s actually part of the muscle-growth process. When you challenge yourself to failure or near-failure on multiple sets for a specific muscle group, you’ll likely experience DOMS after your workout. But what happens when that pain affects your ability to manage your day-to-day life? While there’s certainly a time and place to utilize NSAIDs, the key takeaway is that they should be used with caution, in relatively moderate dosages, and for short periods of time.
