There are lots of slang words used to define those who are incarcerated. Some call them inmates, convicts, jailbirds, gangsters, Caged Bangers, skinheads inmates, Con's, Dirt Bags, Low Life's, Scum Bags etc. but they all come out the same.

If they were looking for more honorable recognition they should have chosen a better career and thought of that before getting caught doing the crime for now they must do the time. There is no nice word for them.

What is the real meaning of word "NICE"?

Nice refers to something or someone pleasant: someone or something that would be desirable to interact with or experience. However, it’s etymology is very interesting: Online Etymology Dictionary: niceThe word originally meant ‘ignorant’ from Latin nescius, lit. ‘not knowing’ (from ne- ‘not’ the verb scire). Over the past approx. 700 years, the word changed from a negative meaning to a positive one. But we still have echoes of that earliest usage in phrases like “He’s not very smart, but he’s nice.” And that is more or less how the word changed to begin with. It started out referring to someone unintelligent who may have been pleasant, and then that meaning of being pleasant came about. Maybe young children were called nice because they were friendly but still ignorant, and then eventually that ‘good’ meaning became more salient, and the ‘not knowing’ meaning disappeared, except in some usage habits where we still have that sense of ‘but they’re nice’. (Note that originally, though, it would have been and, not but. Not a contrast to ‘ignorant’, just a restating.)That we today say things like “That’s nice” in a sarcastic or insincere way is probably unrelated to the original meaning (maybe the “but they’re nice” meaning is also not directly historically related), but it’s still an interesting comparison to the etymology. Evidence for a lack of connection would come from similar usage of good, etc.

What is the difference between the words nice and good?

"Nice" is one of those words that was charged with meaning in 18th century English.  It connoted some things that are out of fashion today - such as judgement and discrimination. If your behavior was "nice," it was based on good principles and consideration for others. If your clothing was "nice," it was neat, clean, and highly suitable to the occasion and your station in life.If your taste was "nice," it had delicacy and nuance, rejecting anything that was crude, over-embellished, or inappropriate. Some of these connotations are aesthetic, and others are ethical. To this day, some of these meaning survive, in the sense that "nice," when applied to a person, still implies that he/she is pleasant and kind. On the other hand, "good," when applied to a person, has powerful ethical connotations.  A good person is virtuous.  Doing what is good can sometimes require a person to engage in behavior that other perceive as unpleasant, disruptive, or impolite.  For example, a good person might trespass on conventional rules of etiquette to call attention to injustice, suffering, or evil.  It's not "nice" to do that, especially in the presence of those who might be responsible for perpetuating injustice, suffering, or evil  - however, it might be a good thing to do.

What are synonyms for "nice"?

Synonyms for nice:cordial - polite - good - friendly - kindI looked it up, but basically it seems most of us dislike the word "NICE" but have no problem with its synonyms. And if you are a woman like me, then "nice" seems like a goody-goody girl... And I do not think I like that! But when we first meet someone, we say, "Hey, they were nice!"Basically, I believe in most any language, we are not very eloquent with our word choices and because of this we have no real idea what anyone is saying to us or asking us for that matter!Sorry, I woke up with a lot of humor this morning! I hope this helps... Follow me on Facebook or Twitter.
