What Is A Way To Stay On Top Of My School Work

How was your senior year of high school? ?

The fall was really stressful just because of college applications. You think you have so much time, but it all flies by so fast and all of a sudden your application deadlines creep up. After applications, you get a bit of a break...but then the waiting sets in and that sucked. The year was fun over all just being a senior and it being my last year of high school but the first half is the worst because of the waiting and not knowing if you got into your favorite schools. When you finally get that acceptance letter though, everything goes out the window. Then everyone just chills until graduation. Relaxes. I had really bad senioritis. That mixed with my procrastination made it hard to stay on top of my applications and school work.

How do I stay on top of my grades?

Create a list of priorities. Are your grades #1?

If so, build a routine that allows your grades to be addressed primarily, and your social/athletic life secondarily. Think about your 24 hour schedule. What needs to happen within those 24 hours to satisfy your academic needs, social needs, athletic needs, and basic needs? Create a schedule on paper or where ever you're best at planning things and stick to it. Things to consider: Social and athletic obligations you're already involved in, time of day you do your homework, average amount of time required to finish your homework each night.

If you do your homework well *when* you're actually doing it, you'll have no problem staying on top of your grades as long as you've set aside time to focus primarily on the homework. If you struggle with your homework, a lot more work and time may be required to get your head in the game, and you may need to consider becoming a big fatty with no friends in order to perform better.

How do i blance out all my school work and my sports practicing?

There isn't really any magic trick to making your school and sports balance out. Most things are obvious but, here is a list of things that help balancing out school and sports.

1. Have a specific schedule. Have a calandar that states the dates and times of homework, tests, exams, sports practices, and games.

2. Be as efficient as possible with your school work. Don't talk on aim or on the phone while working. Know what your assignments are each night, and set aside blocks of time in which you can complete them.

3. Try not to spend to much excess time. Before sitting down to watch the TV or going shopping, make a mental list of the things you have to do, make sure you don't have anything that still remains to do. Have fun, but not at the expense of your school work or practice!

4. Get enough sleep! Try to get as much sleep as possible each night so that you can be more focused and concentrated while working or practicing.

Hope this helped and good luck!

How can I stay on top of school work? I'm almost going into 9th grade, and I just feel like I'm stuck doing nothing. I can say that I have a bit of a video game addiction, but I feel like that isn't the only factor.

alright young me, seems like time travel exist. So this is what you do, turn right on wednesday at 3pm exactly. No but seriously, this is a deja vu as I was about in 9th grade when I felt like that for the first time, having more explanation into the only factor would make my answer more appropriated as I don’t want to say anything that might not work in your case so if commenting with more details is possible, it would make it easier to narrow it down but, it’s a habit that i still have, and it’s becoming bigger. video games are addicting, it’s a fact, the constant stream or entertainment is just like a smoker having a pack of ciggs each day. it because such a habit that without it you don’t really do anything else than feel like you’re bored and go back. Don’t get me wrong i’m saying it’s wrong, it’s amazing to play video games, but it’s really addicting and can make things go badly. One tip could be to force and when I say force I mean FORCE yourself into like doing homework when you get home. Not for a forced amount of time, all of them that are over night and if it’s more like project , depends on the amount of homework, you probably have a phone so that’s a no no, silence it and put it away. but your brain won,t like it at all, you’ll start studying and, playing a video game is so much better and entertaining compared to reading… so you gotta force yourself to it, not let yourself go to your phone or anything better than studying, everything is… as for the rest I cannot really say as it can be a lot of things without much info

Should I sleep or do homework?

The decision to sleep or do your homework should be made after several considerations. First, if you are capable of tackling the homework at that moment within the hour, then it is better to sacrifice your sleep and enjoy continuous rest till the morning.Alternatively, you could decide to sleep early if the assignment is impossible to comprehend. In this case, consider getting homework assistance from Fast Homework Help, and have it ready by morning. If you work better in the morning, it is advisable to sleep early and get up early to do your homework. You should also consider the amount of homework before getting into bed. If you have more than one subject to deal with, sacrifice your sleep and get your homework done on time. However, it is wise to have a limit. For example, doing your assignments after midnight may be unwise, especially if you have to get up early. Instead, tackle what you can at night, and finish off in the morning.Whichever decision you make, always remember to work smart when working on your homework. If you are struggling to stay awake, and are stuck on one page for too long, sleep and deal with it in the morning.[1]Footnotes[1] Should I Sleep Or Do My Homework? - Paper per hour

Senior year of high school? Any tips, advice?

Its hard to stay on task. I just graduated and the whole year I generally felt lazy school work wise. :p Make sure you go to football games, homecoming, and prom. And senior year gets to expensive, so I'd advise you to save money. You'll have yearbooks, cap and gown fees, club fees (if you're into clubs), senior pictures, t-shirt and lots of stuff to buy and it easily adds up. Also, take lots of pictures of stuff and save them. Great way to look back on things. Oh and it your going to go to college you need to get on top of that ASAP. If you want college scholarships most deadlines are before Christmas, so don't let that slip you by.

How do you balance COLLEGE and WORK?!?

I had to do this and basically I gave up any personal life. No parties or vacations really. I missed lots of things but I finished. Lots of long hrs and try to separate the too make every second count at work because when you go home it is all about school. I took evening classes and stated at the school library till 12:00 to read and do work. I went on little sleep and wanted to tear my hair out. But I looked forward to Christmas break and Summer ( I did not go to school in the summer)
