Like say eye@#$#$- abuse, where you people purposely make you see or hear things you don't want to(it was the only one I could think of). Idk I'm doing a project. Ends in -ly right?

"Naked eye"- what is the definition of this phrase, and where did it come from?
"Naked eye" refers to vision without any enhancing optics (such as a telescope or microscope). The idea behind it is obvious: without using such tools your eye is uncovered ("naked") and directly viewing the subject. Can you describe the feeling of missing someone deeply?
