What Is Being Done With My Stolen Iphone

Can I use a stolen iPhone?

No you can't anymore. Older versions, you probably can. First off, the 6 and 7 have the biometric finger print thing on them and if the owner was smart and intelligent enough to set that up as their password, you won't even be able to get in there let alone use it. If you somehow get in because the owner was too stupid to set up any security on it, more than likely they will track you as you sit there using the phone-I have that “"Find my Phone” function set up on mine. Don't try turning the device on at all because it will start tracking you immediately and you'll be out of luck using it. Then you got the problem of trying to switch it over-you need that person’s Apple ID just to switch it over too and if you're dumb enough to go to a store to switch it over, they won't be able to without the login credentials. Cellphone companies now have a list that contains the serial numbers of all the stolen phones including the iPhone and if you try activating it or switching it over, you can't. Long answer is no, you can't use a stolen iPhone.

Can i unlock a stolen iphone 5c?

Gee you have a stolen phone with a built in GPS and it was reported stolen? Umm yea You clearly want to go to jail. If it was reported stolen and you turn it on it's reporting your location. Chances are you're going to go to jail if you keep that phone and try to use it. It doesn't matter to the police if you found stolen goods. If you have something you know was obtained illegally and keep it you can face criminal charges.

What do I do if my iPhone is stolen? Advice?

Call to your carrier and freeze your line. If you can't see your iPhone on your icloud account, you are out of luck. You should keep your eye on your bank accounts/paypal/ebay. If there was no password on your iPhone and you were logged in your email account - you might be completely screwed - with your email and phone number in hand, fraudsters can reset virtually any account (except online banking). With your line frozen fraudsters won't be able to receive text verifications. My iphone got the wrong hands by my own mistake. Read what happened : http://www.zhenyavlasov.com/if-y...

Stolen iPhone Sellable?

It's pretty simple and easy really.

Erase all data, remove the micro-sim, sell it.

unless you have a lock code in it, it can be tricky.

you have misunderstood the micro-sim thingy.

a micro sim is a sim card, like the one you use with other phones, it contains your number and
transmits data to your mobile company.

the Iphone uses a micro-sim, it's just smaller and fancier.

it can be accessed with a needle.

Don't worry about those heartless people saying you stole a phone. they probably didn't read the whole story.

really sorry for you.

but if the phone is on a contract plan. you can still call the mobile company and tell them what happend. they might be able to block the UDID number or something

Help with tracking my stolen iphone...?

They stole my phone about two weeks ago at school. It was an iphone 6 plus. Unfortunately I had the find my iphone off, and i forgot to turn it on. To make matters worse, the day after someone stole my phone, my dad connected my same number to another older phone. This makes it even harder to track my old phone, and the police/sprint company cannot help me now. I have the serial number and all the information. Is there anything I can use to track at least the phone location history for that day because I know that they turned on the phone at one point. Anything such as websites, or apps that can help will be useful, even using the deep web because Google has not been helpful. I have checked google location history and even the privacy>location services>system services>frequent locations on the iphone which did not help. I will greatly appreciate it so if anyone knows something, let me know. Thank you for your time.

Is it possible to find my stolen iPhone 6?

If you have done the following then there's a small chance that you may find it. You have data services enabled. You have location services enabled find my iPhone. You have a passcode lock on your phone. If you answered yes to all three then open a web browser and login to your iTunes account. Use the find my iPhone link to locate on a map, the location of your iPhone. Additionally you can also send a custom message with callback number and also remotely erase your phone. If you are lucky you might get it back. Note that all this will work only if your phone has battery power left. But either way, if you have enabled the above three things the iPhone will be virtually a very pretty paper weight for the person who stole it.
