What Is Better Ps3 Or Ps4 And Why

How is the ps4 better than the ps3?

I personally own a ps3 and have been looking forward to the ps4. However, after I watched the ps4's "big" reveal I'm left disappointed. I know it is an improvement over the ps3 power wise (several times more so) but other than that what?

Is the ps4 just a massive power house? No new gameplay mechanics or anything? I was kind of hoping that Sony might team up with Oculus. After reading a little bit I learned that the ps4 has ipad and other mobile devices supported but still...

What I'm trying to say is, "AFTER SEVEN YEARS THIS IS THE NEXT GENERATION OF GAMING?!"
I don't want better graphics (although they do look nice and are a bonus) I want something new.
Not hating on Sony but I wanted something more...

Which is better - PS2, PS3, or PS4?

Well in this day and age, i would definitely recommend to skip the PS2 altogether. Now the comparison between PS3 and PS4. if you're about to start into gaming and have budget constraints, i would say PS3. it has got great line of games which are not to be missed. The essentials are a great collection and have all the necessary elements to hang onto it. Given this, the demerit would be that all the sequels to these great games are only released on the PS4 platform. The PS4 is easily the most powerful of the lot and easily competes with a high end gaming computer. It gives game makers the freedom to implement resource intensive functionality which is a visual treat. Also most of the PS3 titles are remastered on to the PS4 platform. I would say at the end of the day, the PS3 is at it's sunset days and PS4 is nicely picking up.PS3 recommended titles: Essential line of games, GOW series, COD black ops series and ghost, Killzone series, Batman series, Need for speed, GTA series, move games, MK games.

Which is better PS2 or PS3?

Both were great during its times. You cannot compare a PS 2 to that of a PS 3. PS 2 was released during the year 2000 whereas PS 3 was launched in late 2006. The kind of technology that was available in 2006 is not the same for the year 2000. PS 2 was a killer gaming console when it was released. People went nuts to buy these during those years. The tech behind PS 3 is more complex than a PS 2 and hence performs much better than PS 2. But when you compare PS 3 to a PS 4 you would say PS 4 is much better and the reason is obvious.PS 2 still holds #Rank 1 for the most number of units sold worldwide. It was a staggering 155 million. And in 2017 nobody would get any of these unless he is a huge fan of a certain game. Most of the people would go for a PS 4.

Which one would be better PS3 or PS4?

I want to buy PS3 because most of the games that i havent played yet like heavy Rain ,Hitman Absolution are on PS3 if i buy PS4 then i am going to miss some of the games

Is the PS4 much better than the PS3? How so?

Disclaimer: I am a PS4 owner and this answer is written from that point of view. No disrespect is intended towards owners of other systems. I'm not a participant in the console war.Oh yes. Faster loading times and running games in 1080p native with 60 fps is nice. The UI is cleaner and allows for a player to hop in and out of games, chat parties, and even the PSN store more quickly. The issue I see holding the PS4 back is that too many developers are beholden to one of three things1) Designing games with last-gen in mind. Many game devs have said that they had bigger visions for the games but were forced to design the game with the limitations of last-gen in mind. Destiny, for example, runs 30 frames per second because of this.2) Making games on an annual schedule.Granted, this issue plagued the old generation but it probably isn't going away anytime soon. The issue we saw with Battlefield 4 being shipped broken probably had as much to do with no Beta cycle to speak of as well as trying to release the game to coincide with the PS4 and Xbone so let's put that aside. The issue I speak of is perfectly exemplified with Assassin's Creed: Unity. If this series didn't hold itself to an annual cycle it wouldn't have shipped with so many aspects of it completely broken.3) Unfamiliarity with the hardware's true capabilities.Every single major system released since the onset of what I call the "modern" era of gaming (PS2/Xbox onward) has shown a trend. The best games released on the system are released at the end of the lifecycle of that system. A great example of this is when the PS3 came out. In a one year period afterwards we saw Final Fantasy XII, Shadow of the Colossus, and OdinSphere release on the PS2. A renaissance of gaming on the old system. We have been seeing some of that with the PS3 though it's more a case of the best games being released just before the next console comes out. This, I believe, is due to the developers taking time to figure out just what a system can do and really pushing that envelope. I have no doubt that we will see some of the best games yet in the coming years this generation. The PS4 is light years ahead of the PS3. It's also light years away from where it will be.

I am new to gaming. Which one is better, a PS3 or a PS4? What are the TV requirements to buy a PS?

The PS4 is significantly more powerful than the PS3, and the two consoles have different libraries of available games. While there are a few exceptions, most PS3 game discs can't be played in a PS4, and NO PS4 games will run on a PS3. This means that there are more overall games on the PS3 than the PS4, but that they won't be as graphically impressive as PS4 titles. In addition, since the PS3 is an older system now, many of the games released on it no longer have functioning online servers, or if they do, there aren't enough players for any online games except maybe a couple of the most popular shooters and sports titles. As far as TVs go, both the PS3 and the PS4 support HDMI, which is what the vast majority of TVs use these days. There are adapters to allow the consoles to connect via DVI or Component input, but in most cases that means you're losing out on resolution or audio without a complicated set-up.

Which version of Tales of Zestiria looks better, PS3 or PS4?

There real photos. I merely changed the brightness and color saturation. This is the same thing people did with the PS3 vs. PS4 original comparison photos to make the PS4 look better. Merely demonstrating how easy this trick is to pull.

Which is best to buy PS3 or PS4 considering the budget and is PS3 really good?

Both PS3 and PS4 are good.PS3 will have few or no games released going further as it is a previous gen console. But, it has lot of good old games. If you don't mind playing games with average graphics and good game play, you can buy a PS3. Here you will spend less but console will not be much useful after a couple of years. PS4 will have new and better games going further as it is current gen console. If you want to play with good graphics and can't wait to play latest released games, go for PS4. Here you need to spend more for a console you can live with for coming 5~6 years (untill sony makes a new one which will not make one again in near future). You can make your choice based on this. I am sorry to be rude but, similar questions (not the exact but in same context) has been asked several times already in Quora let alone all other gaming forums around the world. IMHO, It is better to ask questions which does not have answers available already.
