What Is Controlling The President

Can the president control the FBI?

Appointments
Budget
Executive orders
Attention
the best example is if it is an executive aganecy inparticualr he can byexeuctive order hold up funding and or restict action. By holding up funding congress may have allocated he cold just see that it never gets there till the end of the year, or not approve their actions so. Even thought here is an agnecy thta is crged with doing certian things they can actually do nothing, becaus ethe preeident has saon their money or has not granted approval for their speciifc actions. hese are two ways in which the executive can controla beiracrtic agency.
With congressional agency and fewere and fewe are thee days, there are still links to the xeutive office for things like appprovals of ativites, and much of the tim eeven though a angency i stricly under the legisilative branc th eexeutive may have the ability and doe to appoint cabenintl evel headsa. these secerqatiari can hold up apporval to activitiy so hat A- nothing gtes done and B- not all the money get spent. so, when they go in next year for budget to congress the presiodent cans say don't give hem any more monwey they didn't need use ehta they got last time. Oh, yes theexecutive can absoultly control formally and informally the way bearacyies get or don't get hings done.
